We want to share a brief update with our residents, families, and community.

All is well, and our team continues to safely care for our residents. Our residents and staff are doing well, and daily routines continue as normally as possible. Residents are attending scheduled appointments, and we continue to welcome visitors and family members.

Our facility remains fully operational, including restroom access. We are currently utilizing our emergency water supply systems due to the boil water advisory that remains in effect.

We are also pleased to share that our food, medical supply, and other essential vendors have experienced no interruptions in service, ensuring we have everything needed to provide uninterrupted care.

While internet service has been temporarily impacted, we have implemented temporary solutions that continue to improve each day. Spectrum anticipates restoring service later this afternoon if conditions allow.

We are grateful for the support and patience shown by our families, staff, and community during this time. Our commitment to providing safe, compassionate care remains our highest priority.

An update from our team after yesterday’s storm.

Thank you first and foremost to our staff; they have gone above and beyond to care for our residents during this difficult time, even amidst their personal challenges following the storm. They have committed to showing up and staying late for our residents, continuing to provide exceptional care.

Visitors are welcome and can access all three of our facilities, including Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center, Garden View and the Gardens of Fountain Way.
Our facility is still working through some challenges due to the storm. Water pressure has been restored, but we are still under a boil water advisory. Bottled water is being used for food preparation and for drinking water during this time.

We are still without phone and internet service. We are currently utilizing cell phones to communicate with facilities and physicians. If there is an emergency, please call 920-961-2612. Please only use this number for emergencies so we can keep the line of communication open as much as possible. There is a predicted update for 9:00 am tomorrow morning (7/29) from Spectrum.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we navigate our way through this. Our thoughts are with everyone in our community who has been affected by this storm. Our community is strong, and when we come together, we can get through anything.

The city of Menasha was struck by a tornado during the afternoon of 07/27/2026. Thankfully, Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center and the staff, residents, and visitors remained safe during the tornado and severe weather. The building did not sustain any physical damage. Due to the damage in the surrounding area, the building is without phone service, internet service, and city water. We are following our emergency plans and will continue to update you all when more information becomes available.
