Soul Snuggle Wellness 🌊Holistic Registered Nurse & Wellness Coach helping overwhelmed people reduce stress, improve health & be kind to their bodies🌅Gentle, judgment-free support🧡

I see you...

You've been keeping "it" together for so long. From the outside looking in, you live a fairly successful life. You are generally a happy, productive person. You have beautiful, creative ideas. You tend to be a great support for others, but internally, your own soul is weary. There is something that's been weighing you down:
Maybe it's a health problem. Maybe it's a big decision you h

ave to make. Maybe it's secretly the terrible way you view and treat yourself. Maybe it's a sadness from suppressing a dream not yet lived. Maybe it's regret from not living a life in alignment with what you actually want for yourself. Maybe it's overwhelm from one of all of the above. You may have been keeping your struggles to yourself. Or maybe you've told a select person or two. All you know is that it just seems like any more time spent on sharing your concerns feels Excessive...
Futile...
Maybe Selfish?? You wish there was someone who you could really hash out your issues with who wouldn't judge you. Someone you could always trust to keep things to themselves. Someone who could go step by step, process by process, with you to help you figure out your next right move. Someone who was nurturing and honest. Someone with a background in health and wellness. Someone that could let you focus on what YOU need right now. A problem solver...
Encourager...
A soft space to land...

This desire is not selfish, my friend. And the answer does exist! You need holistic help. You need a holistic nurse and wellness coach. I see you, and I'm here to help. If this resonates with you and you would like to learn more about what it would look like to work with me, all you have to do is DM me the word "see" and I'll check in with you. 💙

I hope to see you soon,

So I have a theory:

Wellness (feeling healthy and happy) isn't a finish line. It isn't some magical place where you finally arrive, and then you've won life. (Somebody get out the trophies!) Wellness is actually like a continuous journey.

Better yet, I like to think of wellness as a boat.

We all have a boat. Sometimes the make and models differ greatly from each other, but they’re our boats, we are blessed to have them and that, in and of itself, should be respected.

Some days, I’m cruising along, wind in my hair, singing a favorite tune, while enjoying the gorgeous views all around me.

Other days, I'm laying face down in my boat, exhausted, trying not to accidentally aspirate dirty saltwater, while asking myself how I got in this position so quickly.

Some days, I'm pulling a DiCaprio, arms outstretched in front of the boat screaming, “I am Queen of the World!”

On other days, I decide it actually feels nice to be in the water, while holding onto the side of my boat and letting the waves periodically wash over me.

You get the idea…

The goal isn't smooth water forever. It's learning to be with the changes that come our way.

I'm sharing this concept because when you think about health and happiness this way, it takes a LOT of pressure off.

I know that I no longer have to chase this unattainable “perfect balance” that (maybe?) shows up for a brief moment in time, before something dynamically changes my situation, and I'm struggling to stay upright again.

Wellness ebbs and flows. You're going to have good days and you're going to have bad days. I encourage you to show yourself some love, be proud of the boat that you have, and rest easy that you can navigate whatever water you are in today.

"Cancel! Cancel!"

If we played our internal monologues out loud on a hard day, we’d probably all want to give each other a giant hug. It’s wild how quickly we can slide into being our own worst critics.

Here is a quick, slightly silly tool living in my self-grace toolbox that I’ve relied on over the years.

The exact second I catch a cruel thought creeping in: about my body, my productivity, or my worth...I stop. And I literally say (out loud, if I'm not in public), "Cancel! Cancel!"

It’s not magic, and it’s not toxic positivity. It’s just a pattern interrupt. It’s my way of hitting the emergency brake and telling my brain, "Nope. We are not going down this rabbit hole today."

By physically saying the words, you strip the power from the thought before it can snowball.

Next time you catch yourself mid-criticism, give it a shot. Give your brain a firm, loving redirect and see how much lighter you feel.

I'm so grateful for my new beautiful "Soul Studio", the wonderful people that helped make it pretty, and the hot hubs for encouraging me to turn my dream into reality💙🌊

C'mon cuties, who's ready to figure out time travel so we can go back to the 90s? (We have plenty of brilliant friends, so why is this not a thing already?!?)

This photo is of me earlier tonight, getting ready for a date with my hot hubby😘

I've got my Lock 'N' Rolls in.
A 1998 mixtape I made is playing in the cassette player (yes, I know the sound is inferior, but the tininess of a boombox is somehow...comforting?)🎧
And I'm wearing an outfit (my skirt has HEARTS!) that my 19 year-old self would have been so proud of.

Honestly, the above just scratches the surface of my weird ways, but I refuse to diminish my authentic extra🦋

So, I'm genuinely curious...what little pieces of your past do you revel in?

Much love to my lovelies❤️

Six years ago today...

Before getting to know the Brothers Koren, I would have never shown you this video. Why you ask? For a totally insane reason.

It's not perfect. I'm too nervous in the beginning. My voice is a little bit weak in the beginning. I'm a little bit pitchy. I'm not totally in my body and to me, it's noticeable.

But you know what? I did this.

I'm literally singing a song with one of my most favorite bands in the world and it's not lost on me that is the stuff that dreams are made of.

But most importantly, these Brothers taught me that experience is so much more valuable then performance. Being in the moment and authentic is with more than any curated, perfect moment that you can craft to share with the world.

So here it is. One of my most proud moments in its entirety. Unedited. Me. A song I wrote with these amazing beings that changed the way I see everything.

Live your life. Be you. Unapologetically. Always. I love you.
