Pavement Resurfacing is set to begin Monday between the hours of 7AM and 5PM and continue on Tuesday and Wednesday. Bellingham St will be closed to through traffic during this time. Detours will be in place and travelers will be asked to utilize Hartford Ave East and Rt 140 to get around the construction. Please expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible!

Office visitors!!! Please be aware. It’s back to a double lane now but still ripping up in front of my office and blocking the driveway. If they can, officers will let us in. But please consider virtual if you’re after 1pm!! It’s adding about 20 min to the commute.

As part of the ongoing Route 16 roadway improvements, Route 16 (Hastings Street) is currently reduced to a single alternating lane of travel between Millville Street and Maple Street. Traffic is being allowed through in both directions, one direction at a time.

This temporary traffic pattern is expected to remain in place until approximately 5:00 PM today and will likely result in significant traffic delays throughout the area. Motorists are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes and allow additional travel time.

We understand this project has created disruptions for residents, commuters, and local businesses, and we appreciate everyone's patience as this work continues.
Please use caution in the area, keep intersections clear, and obey all traffic controls.
