It truly takes a village to care for our patients, and we are so grateful to have incredible partners in our community. We want to take a moment to thank Alice Hou for all her hard work connecting us at Peninsula Doctor (Dr. Ian Kroes M.D., Dr Dave Hiroshima, MD, Susanna Miranda, and Dr. Judy Kim) with many dedicated specialists at Stanford. She has consistently gone above and beyond to build these bridges and move us beyond the siloes of care. We’d also like to extend a thank you to Maureen Hogan for connecting us with the impressive Neurosurgery team.

We met and reconnected with many wonderful Stanford specialists yesterday in Orthopedics/Sports medicine, Digestive Health/Hepatology, Pain Management, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pelvic Health, and Neurosurgery. At a time when technology seems to be taking over so much of what we do, it was a refreshing reminder that nothing replaces connecting face-to-face.

Thank you to the Stanford physician leaders and specialists who took the time out of their busy schedules to chat and share more of their expertise and passion. Your dedication to patient care is truly palpable.
