MOCC is a 41 bed, skilled nursing facility that provides services such as physical therapy, and meals on wheels.

GRACEFULLY YOURS BOUTIQUE
A Boutique for the Residents of MOCC
Where everyone deserves to shop, choose, and feel special.

We are so excited to introduce Gracefully Yours Boutique at Menno-Olivet Care Center! Our goal is to create a special shopping experience where our residents can come “shop,” browse, pick out things they love, and enjoy the simple joy of shopping and choosing something for themselves.

We are looking for gently used donations of:
👚 Women’s & Men’s clothing
💍 Inexpensive Jewelry & accessories
🌸 Perfume & cologne
✨ Other small items our residents might enjoy!

Donation Drop-Off:
Please have items to the Care Center by September 4th. When you drop off your items, please ask for Aisha. If you have any questions or want to know if we could use an item, please reach out to Aisha at 605-387-5139.

If you have items that are clean, gently used, and still have plenty of life left in them, we would love to give them a new purpose—and bring a little extra joy to our residents.

We have residents who miss the excitement and experience of “shopping”, so we want to bring the experience to them! Because everyone deserves to shop, choose, and feel special!

Looking mostly for women’s small-2x tops (blouses, long sleeve shirts, full zip jackets, sweaters). Men’s medium to 3x tops (tshirts, polos, button up short sleeve and long sleeve, long sleeve shirts, zip jackets). Women’s bottoms small to 2x (leggings, dress slacks, sweat pants). Men’s jeans, sweat pants, shorts various sizes. Men’s and women’s (sets, dresses, pants) pajamas.

A little donation request: Because our boutique space is limited, we kindly ask that clothing donations be kept to a few clean, gently used pieces rather than large bags or totes of clothing. We want to offer a nice variety of items to browse and choose from, while making sure everything donated can be put to good use! We are incredibly grateful for our community’s generosity and for helping us make this a special experience for our residents!

If you have been to the Care Center recently, one thing you will see and hear about is our feathered friends! Our residents absolutely love watching the birds outside their windows (even the squirrels 🐿️), and we are asking for your help to keep those feeders full!

We go through nearly 100 pounds of bird seed every month, so we’re kicking off a Bird Feed Drive to help offset some of the cost. You can drop off a bag of bird seed at the Menno-Olivet Card Center, purchase a bag from Edelman’s Feed and Supply and drop it off, or drop off a monetary donation at the Care Center. We are also looking for a few more Shepherds Hooks and bird houses!

Every bag, big or small, helps bring joy and some great entertainment to our residents! Thank you for supporting our Care Center and helping us keep our feathered friends coming back! 🌻🦜
