It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scott Kubiak, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, businessman, and friend.

He worked incredibly hard to build a life for the people he loved, but no accomplishment ever meant more to him than being surrounded by his family. He was the kind of man who would drop what he was doing to help someone in need, never asking for anything in return. He was humble, dependable and he had a huge heart with a quiet way of showing his love.

He found great joy in the simple things that made life meaningful: spending time with his family, sharing a drink and a laugh with friends, hunting and working through the never-ending to-do lists he somehow always managed to tackle. He took pride in maintaining and spending time on his land. He was happiest surrounded by the people he loved and the life he had worked so hard to build.

He shared 33 wonderful years of marriage with his loving wife, Cassie, who stood by his side through every season of life. Together, they built a family that became his greatest blessing. He was a proud and devoted dad to his daughters, Alex and Aniston, and he welcomed their husbands, Tate and Taylor, into the family as his own. He lovingly referred to them as his “bookends,” a nickname that never failed to bring a smile.

But perhaps his favorite role of all was being Bumpers.

His grandsons—Bennett, Reed, Kaiden, and Scott—knew him as Bumpers, and there was no title he wore more proudly. They were the light of his life, and he never missed an opportunity to brag about them, tease them, cheer them on, or make memories with them. He was overjoyed to know another grandchild was on the way, already loved beyond words and forever a part of his legacy.

There will be an emptiness in our lives that can never truly be filled. We’ll miss his stories, his stubbornness, his willingness to lend a hand, the sound of his laughter shared with friends and family, and the comfort of knowing he was always just a phone call away. But his legacy lives on in the family he adored, the friendships he treasured, and the many lives he touched through his kindness and generosity.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

In respect of Scott’s wishes there will be a private service. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home is assisting the Kubiak family with arrangements.

MARK ALLEN STREETER

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we share that our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Mark Streeter, entered eternal rest on February 13, joining his Heavenly Father. Mark passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on August 15, 1962, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mark spent his early years in Wisconsin and Michigan before moving to California, where he completed his schooling. His life journey eventually brought him back to Michigan, which he called home for many years. Mark built a career rooted in hard work and dedication, beginning in the grocery industry before transitioning into Network Administration, where his reliability and commitment were well known.

Mark approached life with enthusiasm, humor, and an unshakable love for the things that brought him joy. A lifelong sports fan, he cheered passionately for the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers. He was equally at home at the poker table—where he delighted in friendly competition—or out on the golf course, which was his true passion. Golf was more than a game to Mark; it was a testament to his spirit. Over his lifetime, he achieved 6 holes in one —one after being declared legally blind and another after a leg amputation—remarkable milestones that perfectly reflected his belief that passion and perseverance triumph over limitation.

Throughout his lifelong journey with diabetes, Mark faced extraordinary challenges with courage, grace, and an unwaveringly positive outlook. He refused to let obstacles define him, instead choosing gratitude, humor, and determination. His resilience and joy for life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him and continued to inspire his family and friends.

Mark is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Rosie Streeter; his children Jordan (Christian) Russomanno, Alexandra (Terrell) Dunn, and PJ Panagopoulous; and his cherished grandchildren Jeremiah, Rhyan, Roman, and Theodor, all of California. He is also survived by his mother, Nancy Streeter of Foley, Alabama; his siblings Bruce (Donna) Streeter of Mobile, Alabama, and Craig (Kristine) Streeter of Atlanta, Georgia; along with six beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Streeter.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held in late spring or early summer, allowing family and friends to gather and honor a man whose life was defined by love, perseverance, and joy. Details will be shared at a later date. Cadieu Funeral Home is assisting the Streeter family with arrangements.

BRUCE WARREN NEECE was born to Betty Jean (Grandeen) Neece and Harold Alfred Neece on November 29, 1963 in Menominee, Michigan. He passed away at home on June 9, 2026.

He grew up in the village of Carney, Michigan surrounded by his beloved brothers and sisters who were his entire world, even in adulthood. He loved his childhood and teenage years and spoke of fond memories of cross-country road trips with his siblings Connie, Dan, Gary, Janet, and Karen plus wild shenanigans with his best friends Gonzo, Jan, Keith, Wendland, Jim, Pete, among many others.

He married Melody in 1991. This week would be their 35th wedding anniversary. Bruce loved the role of stepdad that marrying Melody provided him. His relationship with Aaron (“Boomer”) Wickstrom and Boomer’s children is one that brought him continuous joy and fulfillment throughout his life.

Bruce’s daughter Hannah was born in 1992 and his son Elliott was born in 1996. He was destined to be a family man and was the best dad on earth. He took us on hundreds of road trips to all corners of the country, planned fun days on the shores of the Great Lakes, and taught us how to ride our bikes early so we could race down the back roads together. He loved being our “limo driver” in high school, happily lugging us kids around and never once complaining about having to pick us up or drop us off.

As empty nesters, Bruce and Mel found solace in reconnecting like a young couple again and enjoyed working on the house and garden together, along with traveling and simply enjoying each other’s beautiful company.

For the last 30 years, Bruce was employed at R.W. Fernstrum & Company . This was a huge point of pride for him. He started on the shop floor as a welder and eventually became an international salesman. He represented the company around the world in places all over Europe, South America, and Canada.

Beyond generous with his time and many talents, he loved volunteering and was an active community member. He had a special interest in musical theatre and building sets for local theatre productions through Menominee High School and Theatre on the Bay. Additionally, he was a volunteer fireman for many years. Bruce was always interested in giving - shirt off his back, his last dime, his plate of food - it was yours, if you needed or wanted it. That was our Bruce.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father Harold and his mother Betty along with other friends, family members, and precious pets. He is survived by his wife, children, siblings, friends, precious dog Hildy, and all those whose lives he inevitably touched with his absolutely unrelenting kindness and pure love.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Emmanouil Alimpertis and his team at Aurora Cancer Care in Marinette, Wisconsin. To Dr. A., Heather, and every single person there on that team who helped us along this road - thank you. You are God’s gift to this earth. Additionally, we want to thank Dr. Douglas Evans and team at Froedtert in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the UP Home Health & Hospice Team (Nikki). Extra special thank you to the Fernstrum family, the Mathieu family, Evan Petraski, and everyone who has said a prayer, wished a well-wish, or supported us during this time.

Night-night Dad. We adored you.

Visitation for Bruce will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Carney Free Church in Carney, MI., beginning at 11:00am until time of service at 12:00pm. Luncheon will follow in the fellowship hall. Cadieu Funeral Home is assisting the Neece family with arrangements.
