Residents had a garden party this week to celebrate the hard work that our Adopt a Garden volunteers have put into making the front of our households look phenomenal!! Residents were also able to attend Music over Menomin with the Menomonie Public Library on Thursday. BALTERDASH is full of such talent. Thank you for the great show!

A successful fishing day at Jeremiah's Bullfrog Fish Farm- Eat My Fish for our Central building! 🎣 Residents started reeling in fish before the bus was even fully unloaded 😱 Check out our catches of the day!! Thank you to Dave and Brett for your help to make it such a fun experience.

Tuesday, August 4th - East Building Trip to the Dollar Tree: Volunteers will meet us at the store at 2:00, help residents shop for approx. 45 minutes, and then help them back out to the bus to return home.
Friday, August 28th - Trip to the Dollar Tree: Volunteers will meet us at the store at 10:30, help residents shop for approx. 45 minutes, and then help them back out to the bus to return home.

Fun at the Dunn County Fair! 🎡 Thank you to everyone that put so much work into making the 2026 fair so wonderful. Residents had fun seeing the animals, enjoying food and music, and checking out their entries (including two awards of excellence!) 🏅 Congrats to all!

🛍️ July 14th - East Building trip to Dollar Tree: Volunteers will meet us at the store at 2:00 pm, help residents shop for approx. 45 minutes, and then help them back out to the bus to return home.
🎡 July 23rd (MORNING) - West Building trip to the Dunn County Fair: Volunteers will meet us at the fairgrounds at 10:30 am, help residents around to view animals, exhibits, etc. for approx. 1 hour, and then help them back to the bus to return home.
🎠 July 23rd (AFTERNOON) - East Building trip to the Dunn County Fair: Volunteers will meet us at the fairgrounds at 2:15 pm, help residents around to view animals, exhibits, etc. for approx. 1 hour, and then help them back to the bus to return home.
🐄 July 24th (AFTERNOON) - Central Building Trip to the Dunn County Fair: Volunteers will meet us at the fairgrounds at 2:15 pm, help residents around to view animals, exhibits, etc. for approx. 1 hour, and then help them back to the bus to return home.
🏎️ July 30th - Car Show at The Neighbors: Volunteers will meet at the lobby of The Neighbors at 5:45 pm and be paired with a resident to help them see the cars for approx. 1 hour.

Good Afternoon,
I am writing to provide an update on the current water situation in the City of Menomonie and the response from NDC. The City of Menomonie is currently experiencing significant water shortages and issues. NDC has been proactive and started sourcing bottled water. Residents will only be consuming bottled water to comply with the boil water notice. At this point the city has done this out of an abundance of caution.
We are working with the division of quality of insurance and state infection preventionist to make sure we are doing the best practice to keep everyone safe.
Currently NDC does have water to maintain other services but we are working on contingency plans in case this changes. We will continue to update you via email as changes occur.
