We didn’t leave the system because we couldn’t do the work there…
we left because we started realizing where it limited the work.
Insurance-based care taught us a lot.
And truthfully… it also showed us what was missing.
50-minute sessions for people carrying years of pain.
Having to justify someone’s struggles through diagnoses and paperwork.
Progress measured by treatment plans instead of real-life change.
Feeling the pressure to move faster than people’s nervous systems actually could.
At some point, all of us realized the same thing:
The most important part of therapy isn’t the system.
It’s the relationship.
Feeling safe enough to tell the truth.
Feeling seen instead of managed.
Having space to slow down long enough to actually understand yourself.
And that kind of work doesn’t always fit neatly into boxes.
Sometimes people need more time.
Sometimes they need creativity, humor, movement, education, EMDR, somatic work, ketamine-assisted therapy… or simply a space where they don’t feel rushed or reduced to a diagnosis.
So together, we built something different.
A practice that values presence over productivity.
Depth over speed.
Human beings over policies.
A space for people who are ready to invest in themselves on a deeper level… emotionally, mentally, relationally, spiritually.
Not because they’re “broken.”
Because they want to understand themselves more honestly and live more fully.
That’s why we left the system.
And honestly… we’d do it again in a heartbeat.❤️
Those of you ready for that work too,
WE ARE HERE ✨
