This patient underwent a comprehensive facial rejuvenation including upper and lower blepharoplasty, festoon excision, nasolabial fold excision, direct neck lift, and facial fat transfer.
One of the standout improvements is the correction of his festoons—the excess skin and soft tissue that can create heavy, puffy folds beneath the eyes and along the upper cheeks. Festoons are notoriously difficult to treat without surgery, and their removal helped create a smoother transition between the lower eyelids and cheeks.
He also underwent nasolabial fold excision, a procedure that directly removes deep smile-line creases for patients with significant skin laxity in this area. While it involves a tradeoff of a carefully placed scar, the improvement in facial contour and reduction of these deep folds can be dramatic in the right candidate.
