Today is Achieve Physical Therapy’s 13th birthday! As I reflect over those short yet long 13 years my thoughts naturally immediately trend towards the great people I have been able to work with both as employees and patients. I am truly humbled by the recurring faith and trust that is placed in this company and what we stand for. I remain confident that as we collectively work together we really do Achieve more! Maybe now that we are a “teenager” I will get the social media bug?

Amid these crazy times with many uncertainties, there are some things that will remain constant.

At Achieve Physical Therapy, the health and care of our patients has always been our top priority. We have been monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation through the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Idaho public health officials. We are grateful that as of March 13, there are no confirmed cases in our beautiful state.

We would like to reassure you of the precautions we always take to ensure the best possible safety and care of our patients and employees, as well as recently implemented safeguards:

• Treatment tables are cleaned and disinfected after each patient
• Pillowcases are replaced after each patient
• Enhanced cleaning of high-touch surfaces
• Increased hand-washing protocols
• Convenient accessibility to hand sanitizer
• Temporary removal of magazines and candy dishes

We are here for your physical therapy needs. Please remember to practice personal hygiene practices, including frequent hand washing, social distancing, pausing non-essential travel, and cleaning your home, workspace, and shared items. If you have any flu-like symptoms, please stay home and contact us to reschedule your appointment when you are feeling better.

If we are all diligent as a community to prevent the rapid spread of COVID-19, and all other illnesses, we will achieve our goal of your good health, wellness, and quality of life. Please take care of yourselves and each other.

Yesterday we opened doors for our new clinic in Meridian, ID! Achieve Physical Therapy-Meridian is located on the 2nd floor of the new Pioneer Professional Plaza on the southwest corner of Linder and McMillan (4740 N Penngrove Way, Ste 200). Kyle Maughan, DPT, and Dana Van Wyck, DPT, are our wonderful main therapists ready to serve you.
