Employee Spotlight: Meet Johanna, our Senior Care Advisor!
Johanna's journey with Ashley Manor started back in 2019 as a NOC shift caregiver in Twin Falls. She stepped away in 2021, but came back in 2022 and we're so glad she did. She worked her way up from evening CNA to lead CNA, and in 2025 stepped into her role as Senior Care Advisor, helping families every step of the way.
Why the move to Admissions? "Working on the floor you see how much families need help, and that's all I wanted to do was help." Her time as a caregiver still shapes how she connects with every family who walks through our doors she's been in their shoes, and she knows exactly what a welcoming, well-run home should feel like.
One story Johanna holds close: a resident of hers, who moved in back in 2019. She wasn't happy about the move at first, but she and Johanna slowly built a bond over morning coffee "cocktails" a tradition they kept until she passed. "She was always so happy when she'd see me, and it really made going to work worth it."
Johanna's philosophy says it all: "This is their (residents') home we are just welcomed into it every day, and it's a privilege for us to be here to take care of them." 💛
Outside of work, you'll find Johanna fishing with her dad, laughing through scary movies with her mom, cracking up with her husband over silly things, or road-tripping to somewhere new. Married to her best friend and the youngest of three sisters from a big, close-knit farming family. Johanna brings that same warmth and loyalty to every family she serves at Ashley Manor.
Johanna serves as our Senior Care Advisor for the Magic Valley region, proudly supporting families at our Jerome, Twin Falls, and Kimberly communities.
