🎀 And then, she arrived… 🎀

Tiny hands.
Tiny toes.
A sleepy little sigh.
And somehow, an entire universe wrapped up in one tiny girl.

As a photographer, I get to witness so many beautiful beginnings, but there’s something magical about photographing a brand-new baby. The quiet moments. The tiny details. The way her parents hold her just a little closer, as if they could somehow memorize the feeling of this exact moment.

Because someday, these tiny fingers won’t be so tiny.
Those little toes will carry her somewhere far beyond these four walls.
And the sleepy baby in these photographs will become a little girl, then a young woman, with a story all her own.

But here, in this moment, she is simply their baby girl.

Brand new.
So deeply loved.
And already changing the world around her. 🤍

What an honor it is to freeze a little piece of her beginning in time. ✨

My absolute most favorite photos of the sweet babies this incredible lady has cared for and attended for my own babies. Her care didn’t stop at birth either. I remember waking up after brain surgery to her sitting next to my bed holding my hand.

I disappeared. But here’s why.

I have been BUSY!

Last year after my daughter was born I was DESPERATE to do something that would help me “forget” about how horrible my postpartum was going. So I started the MA program at CWI.

In March I passed my national license exam with a 90% and landed an INCREDIBLE position at a local pediatricians office and have been working full time.

Today was my first day off orientation. I love it almost as much as birth. I have 1 more due date in June and then I am taking a much needed mental health break from hospitals.

And who knows. Maybe I will get to help take care of your babies 😉
