George Allen Gage

Allen Gage passed away peacefully on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Poplar Springs Nursing Center in Meridian, Mississippi.

Allen was born on December 15, 1946, in Holmes County, Mississippi, to Myrtle Christine McBride and William Lester Gage. Known affectionately as Allen or Al, he was a man whose quiet strength, curiosity, and humor touched many people throughout his life. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Engineering and went on to build a fulfilling career with numerus companies, lastly with Solar Group, from which he later retired.

A LIFE OF SERVICE Allen proudly served his country in the United States Army stationed overseas in Germany. His military service was one of the many ways he demonstrated his sense of duty, responsibility, and commitment to something greater than himself.

A PASSIONATE SPIRIT Allen had a genuine love for sports and spent many years coaching youth leagues. For him, coaching was about far more than winning games. He believed in teaching young people how to become better not only as athletes, but as people.

AN AVID HUNTER Allen was an avid hunter who found a special kind of peace in the outdoors. He treasured the quiet of the woods, the anticipation of the hunt, and, perhaps most of all, the stories and memories made along the way.

A GIFTED MUSICAL SOUL Allen also had a gift for music. He loved playing his guitar for family and friends, often bringing a smile, a story, and a song to the room. Music was one of the ways he connected with the people around him, and the sound of his guitar will remain a cherished memory for those fortunate enough to have heard him play.

He is survived by his son, Rookie (Ana Maria) Gage, and daughter, Farrah (Scott) Sinclair; and his grandchildren, Mia Gage, Creed Sinclair, Asher Sinclair, Nicholas Musso, and Griffin Musso.

Allen is also survived by his siblings, Jeanette Humphrey, Mary (Herman) Smith, Susie Campbell, and Jim (Holly) Gage, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a family connected by shared history, childhood memories, stories, and a lifetime of experiences. Each carries a piece of his story forward.

REMEMBERED WITH LOVE Allen will be deeply missed by his family, extended family, lifelong friends and all who knew him. While his absence will be felt, so too will his presence remain—in a familiar song, a story told around a table, a quiet morning outdoors, a baseball field, and in the lives of the people he helped shape.

By his wishes, services are not scheduled.

“Some glad morning, when this life is o’er,

I’ll fly away.”

Allen will be remembered with love, gratitude, and a heart full of cherished memories.

Forever in our hearts.

Tyler Ryan Hagwood

A Celebration of Tyler Hagwood's life will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 11:00 am at Northcrest Baptist Church. Pastors Wade Phillips and Doug Goodman will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Northcrest prior to services. Interment will follow at Causeyville Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the man who gave so much of himself to the people he loved.

Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes are honored to be entrusted with celebrating the life of Tyler and the legacy he leaves behind.

Tyler Ryan Hagwood, 33, of Causeyville, MS, passed away on August 10, 2026, surrounded by family and friends who loved him with their whole hearts. To us, he wasn't just a husband, father, or friend, he was the one everyone quietly depended on.

Tyler was born on February 6, 1993, in Meridian, MS. Raised by a family who taught him to love God, work hard, and take care of the people around him, those values stayed with him every step of the way.

If you knew Tyler, you knew he was about as genuine as they come. A good ole country boy through and through, he was the kind of person people naturally gravitated toward. He had a big heart, a quick wit, and a way of making everybody feel like they'd known him forever.

An electrician by trade, Tyler had a gift for figuring things out. There wasn't much he couldn't build, fix, or find a solution for. People knew they could count on him when something needed doing, and he was always willing to lend a hand. He never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with just about anybody.

Tyler was a man of strong faith who loved the Lord and found some of his closest moments with God in the woods. Whether he was sitting quietly in a deer stand or walking through the woods, he felt at peace surrounded by God's creation. He loved deer hunting, turkey hunting, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. Hunting wasn't just something he enjoyed. It was where stories were shared, traditions were passed down, and memories were made. And if you were lucky enough to spend time with him during turkey season, chances are you got to try his turkey nuggets. Ask anybody who knew him, and they'll tell you nobody made them quite like Tyler.

Family was at the center of Tyler's life. He was raised to believe that family was the most important thing, and that was a lesson he carried with him every day. You could see it in the way he loved the people closest to him. Anyone who knew Tyler knew how much he loved Haylee. She was the love of his life, his best friend, and the center of his world. Together with Will and Hunter, they were his greatest blessing and the heart of everything he did.

He never passed up a chance to spend time with them. Whether it was tossing a ball with Will, coaching his t-ball team, playing in the backyard, working in the greenfield, or just being together, those were the moments he treasured most.

Tyler's faith guided the way he lived, and he embodied what Scripture teaches about being a husband, a father, and a son. The way he loved, provided for, and showed up for his family reflected both the values he was raised on and the faith he carried throughout his life.

His love for family extended far beyond his own home. Tyler cherished his parents, his sister and her family, his grandparents, and the many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones who helped shape the man he became. The love and respect he had for his family ran deep, and the values they instilled in him stayed with him throughout his life.

And if Tyler considered you a friend, chances are he considered you family too. He had a way of making people feel like they belonged. The kids of his closest friends never knew him as anything other than "Uncle T." Whether they were related by blood or not didn't matter much to Tyler. He loved them like they were his own. That's just who Tyler was. His circle was wide, his heart was big, and there was always room for one more.

Tyler never cared much about being the center of attention. He was happiest taking care of the people he loved, working hard, and enjoying life's simple blessings. He leaves behind countless stories, treasured memories, and a legacy of faith, family, and love that will live on in all who knew him.

There'll never be another Tyler, and anyone who knew him is better for it.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Haylee; his two sons, Will and Hunter; his parents, Donald Wayne and Michelle Hagwood; his sister, Brittany Reeves (Bradley); niece, Harper Reeves; grandparents, Levi and Ruth Hostetler; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who love him deeply.

And in so many ways, Tyler lives on through Will and Hunter, in the lessons he taught them, the memories they shared, and the love he poured into being their dad. They will grow up hearing stories of the man who loved them and who would have been so proud of them.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sonny and Ouida Hagwood; and aunt, Gladys Hostetler.

Serving as pallbearers are some of his closest friends: Dalton Kamper, Jake Strickland, Zach Skelton, Tommie Coker, Matthew Helms, Alan Hagwood, Bradley Reeves, and David Morris.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to Catch-a-Dream Foundation.

Stephen "Blake" Hennington

Stephen “Blake” Hennington, age 36, of Stonewall, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in Stonewall. Blake was born in Meridian, Mississippi, on October 10, 1989.

Blake will be remembered for his generous heart, infectious smile, and the genuine kindness he showed to everyone he met. Selfless by nature, he always wanted others to have before he did.

Whether lending a helping hand, sharing what he had, or quietly putting someone else's needs ahead of his own, Blake found genuine joy in caring for others. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and those who knew him will always remember his caring spirit.

A proud graduate of Enterprise High School, Blake was a standout three-sport athlete whose competitive spirit, natural ability, and love for sports made him well known among classmates and teammates. Whether on the football field, basketball court, or baseball diamond, he competed with determination and heart. Long after his playing days ended, he remained an avid sports fan and found happiness on the golf course or with a fishing rod in his hand. Those simple moments brought him peace and some of his greatest joy.

Blake never met a stranger. A natural jokester with an infectious laugh, he had a remarkable gift for making people smile. Whether telling stories, teasing family, or finding humor in everyday life, he could brighten a room and lift the spirits of those around him. His quick wit and easygoing personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

As the family's first grandchild, Blake held a special place in the hearts of those who loved him. He especially enjoyed spending time with his cousins, sharing laughter, friendly competition, and creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Blake was fiercely loyal to the people he loved, and that was especially evident in the relationships he shared with his sisters. As the oldest brother, he was protective, always looking out for them and making sure they knew he had their backs. He took great pride in the women they became and found joy in watching their families grow. Blake was a proud uncle to his many nieces and nephews, a role he cherished deeply.

Above every title he held, Blake was most proud to be Cannon's dad.

His beloved son, Cannon Blake Hennington, held a special place in his father's heart. While life sometimes created distance and circumstances that neither time nor words could fully bridge, Blake's love for Cannon never wavered. It remained constant, unconditional, and enduring.

Stephen “Blake” Hennington is survived by his son, Cannon Blake Hennington, of Hernando; Cannon's mother, Caroline McGee, of Hernando; his father, Stephen Hennington and wife, Karen, of Quitman; his mother, Christy Perkins and husband, Josh, of Philadelphia; his sisters, Blair McElroy and husband, John Clinton McElroy, of Collinsville, and Caitlyn Robinson and husband, Austin, of Enterprise; his grandmother, Gail Pritchett, of Stonewall; his grandparents, Bob and Carolyn Hennington, of Quitman; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends whose lives were made better by knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Doby Pritchett; his uncles, Michael Hennington and Billy Pritchett; and his cousin and best friend, Colby Todd Pritchett.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes – North, 7774-A Highway 39 North, Meridian, Mississippi.
