TMI/CHIN DFC was honored to participate in the inaugural Fentanyl Free America Summit, where we gained valuable insight into youth advocacy, coalition building, prevention strategies, and successful approaches being used by prevention teams across the nation.

TMI/CHIN President Beverly J. Knox and DFC Director Lacey Williams are excited to bring what they learned home and put these ideas into action in Meridian and Lauderdale County. One initiative inspired by the summit is providing Back-to-School Hygiene Bags, which TMI/CHIN DFC will distribute at Holy Remnant Church on August 1, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

As the DFC program prepares for the new school year, TMI/CHIN remains committed to strengthening prevention efforts and supporting young people in the Meridian, Lauderdale County community. Schools, classrooms, youth groups, and other organizations interested in learning more about the dangers of va**ng and drug use are encouraged to reach out to TMI/CHIN DFC about educational opportunities. www.tmi.ms
