September is National Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.

At Cottonwood Creek Behavioral Hospital, we recognize this month as an opportunity to create space for open, honest conversations about mental health and su***de. These are conversations that can help reduce stigma, build understanding and remind us that support is available.

This month, we invite you to join the conversation. Check in with the people around you, listen without judgement, share resources, and help create an environment where someone can speak openly about what they may be facing.

Mental health challenges do not always look the same, and the signs may not always be obvious. Sometimes, simply asking how someone is doing can open the door to healing.

If you or someone you love may need additional support, you do not have to navigate it alone. Cottonwood Creek provides compassionate behavioral healthcare designed to meet you where you are.

We were proud to support the NABIP Treasure Valley Golf Scramble Fundraiser benefiting the Idaho Crisis & Su***de Hotline!

Our team had a great time out on the course, and we were excited to host a booth and connect with fellow community members throughout the day. Most importantly, we were honored to support an organization and cause that plays such an important role in providing crisis support and su***de prevention resources across Idaho.

Thank you to NABIP TV for bringing everyone together for such a meaningful event!

We recently welcomed the Crisis Intervention Teams from Meridian Police Department - Idaho, Boise Police Department, and the Ada County Sheriff's Office to tour our new outpatient clinic.

During their visit, we shared more about our intensive outpatient services and how they can support individuals who need a higher level of care than traditional outpatient therapy while still allowing them to remain connected to work, school, family, and other daily responsibilities.

We appreciate the opportunity to connect with these important community partners and continue building relationships that help individuals access the right level of care when they need it.

CBS 2 Boise recently visited Haven, an Outpatient Department of Cottonwood Creek Behavioral Hospital, to learn more about the program and how virtual care can help reduce barriers for people seeking additional support.

It was great connecting with the St. Luke ’s leadership team in Fruitland!

Dr. Jacob White, our ECT Medical Director, spent time with the team discussing ECT, when it may be considered as a treatment option, and how we can support patients who may benefit from this specialized service.

We always enjoy opportunities to connect with our healthcare partners, share knowledge, and have meaningful conversations about how we can better support the patients and communities we serve.

Thank you to the St. Luke’s Fruitland team for welcoming us!
