Here is my answer to forward head posture. I immediately will think clenching and grinding because it can change the height of the teeth, which affects the head to move forward.
After being a dental hygienist for so many years—and healing from my own lifelong clenching and grinding—I’ve learned just how important protecting your teeth can be. ❤️
Through my own research and conversations with specialists, I’ve learned that when teeth are continually worn down, their height can change, which may influence jaw position, head and neck posture, and overall comfort.
That’s why I recommend a night guard for many people who clench or grind. My goal is simple: help people protect their natural teeth and avoid unnecessary wear whenever possible.
Tooth wear can be associated with problems such as:
🦷 Tooth sensitivity and damage
🦷 Cracks and cavities
🦷 The need for crowns or other dental work
🦷 Jaw/TMJ discomfort
🦷 Gum recession and bone loss
🦴 Neck and head tension
😴 And potentially changes in how we position our head and jaw
I’ve spent years researching what I believe are the least invasive and most practical options for protecting the mouth.
My lower night guard is only $25 and BPA-free—an affordable option for people who want to try protecting their teeth from nighttime grinding.
I’m always here to help you navigate the waters toward a healthier mouth and hopefully less dental work and expense as we get older. 😊
If you feel led to try something I recommend, I hope it helps you become the healthiest version of yourself!
