The physicians and staff at Baptist Cancer Center–Anderson would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the cancer survivors who joined us for our 13th Annual Handprints of Hope event! 114 survivors placed their handprint on the canvas, creating a powerful display of strength and solidarity. This canvas will serve as a beacon of encouragement for patients currently undergoing treatment. We were truly inspired by your presence and honored to hear your stories of courage and hope. In honor of National Cancer Survivors Month, Baptist Cancer Center-Anderson is hosting the 13th annual “Handprints of Hope” event Monday, June 1 through Thursday, June 4.

Cancer survivors are invited to stop by the Cancer Center between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to add their handprint and years of survivorship to a special canvas that will be displayed in their honor and serve as encouragement to other patients on their journey.

🎉 Congratulations to Ginny Ruffin on her retirement from Baptist Anderson! 🎉

After 28 years of dedicated service, Ginny Ruffin, Social Worker/Patient Navigator at Baptist Cancer Center–Anderson, is retiring.

Ginny has been an integral part of the Cancer Center’s success and played a key role in developing the Cancer Patient Benevolence Fund, helping support area cancer patients in need.

Throughout her career, Ginny has been a passionate advocate for patients and their families. Her friends and coworkers describe her as a loyal, dedicated, consistent, and caring team member who always goes the extra mile to make a difference.

Please join us in celebrating Ginny's extraordinary career and wishing her all the best in this well-earned retirement. She will be deeply missed!
