We have many patients that request CD's with their images. As CD drives in computers, laptops, and tablets are less readily available we have chosen to offer images in a digital format. Our image sharing platform is PowerShare. Below are the instructions to obtain your images. These instructions are given to every patient at the time of their appointment.
Obtaining Your Digital Images
1. Visit our website at www.southlakemri.com Select the POWERSHARE tab
2. View the Patient Account Setup Guide. This will give you step by step instructions with pictures.
3. Create, Register, and Verify your new Powershare account.
4. Connect with Southlake MRI in Powershare. Please allow up to 1 business day for connections to be processed.
5. Request your images in Powershare. Please allow up to 1 business day for requests to be processed.
6. COPY your images in Powershare to save them in your account or they will disappear in 45 days.
STEPS 1-5 MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOUR IMAGES ARE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING.
Images for Your Physician Directly from Southlake MRI
•Physicians that are affiliated with local hospitals (Powers Health, Franciscan Health, Methodist, Northwestern, IU Health): Your images can be sent to the facility via Powershare. Your Physician will need to contact their Facility Radiology Department to obtain your images.
•Physicians or Groups with a Powershare account: Images can be sent directly to the Physician or Group. Images may also be directly requested from Southlake MRI in Powershare by your physician.
•Physicians that are affiliated with UChicago: Images are shared via InteleShare/Ambra to UChicago. Please have your Physician contact the Rad Film Library at UChicago to obtain your images.
