💙 Some Thank-Yous Mean More Than Words Can Say. 💙 Today, our hearts were filled with gratitude when we received a very special delivery from our Resident Council President, Susan, and former Resident Council President, David. They surprised our team with delicious sweets and, even more meaningfully, handmade thank-you cards for our staff expressing their gratitude for the care and support they received during the recent storm. 🥹💌 The cards were a beautiful reminder that during some of the most challenging moments, the Belvedere family truly comes together. Our staff worked tirelessly to keep our residents safe, comfortable and cared for and our residents, in turn, showed incredible kindness, compassion and appreciation for those who were there for them. It’s moments like these that remind us that Belvedere is more than a place to live or work. It’s a family. ❤️ Susan and David, thank you for taking the time to make our staff feel so appreciated. Your thoughtful gesture means more than you know! 🍪💙 Through every storm, we stand together. 🌧️➡️❤️

Yesterday was an incredibly productive and enriching day filled with cooking, artistic expression, and exploring diverse global cultures. We began our morning by preparing a homemade coconut cream pie, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. Later, Kristen transported us to the vibrant island of Puerto Rico through a special "food around the world" activity. We had the wonderful opportunity to sample authentic Puerto Rican rice, savory beans, and some delightful local candies. Currently, several of us are unwinding by playing a game of dominoes and enjoying a well-deserved period of relaxation.

In our community, every Wednesday is dedicated to a special outing, and today we had the pleasure of visiting the House of Kobe. We had a truly wonderful experience watching the hibachi grill in action. The food was absolutely delicious, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during this fantastic visit.

We began our morning today by savoring a refreshing and incredibly healthy fruit smoothie together. Later in the afternoon, we happily gathered to celebrate all of our residents who have birthdays during the month of August. We enjoyed a delightful party featuring delicious strawberry shortcake and wonderful musical entertainment provided by MusicDuo. It was truly a marvelous day spent in the company of our dear friends, filled with joy, laughter, and lasting memories that we will all cherish deeply.
