Sometimes the best results take a little patience…

As a first-time lip filler client, she wanted to avoid looking overdone, so we took things slow!

We started a few months ago and added a little more today, using just over one syringe total between both visits.

The takeaway? Lip filler doesn’t have to be all or nothing! Building volume gradually allows us to assess how the lips heal, maintain balance, and make thoughtful adjustments along the way.

I also love that she makes sure to stop in whenever she’s home from Florida!

Her concerns? Crow’s feet and lips that were lacking a little hydration and definition.

As we age, our lips naturally lose volume, hydration, and definition. It’s one of the most common concerns I hear from my clients as they get older, and something we can address without dramatically changing their appearance.

The goal was never to change how she looks, but to subtly refresh what was already there.

A little softer, a little more defined, and a few years younger-looking.

Especially when I see overfilled lips

And I’ll be the FIRST to point out lip filler migration. ⬆️ Because sometimes, more filler isn’t the answer.

From top to bottom, you’re seeing just part of this client’s journey with me.

She originally came to me with overfilled lips and visible migration. We both agreed the best option was to dissolve the existing filler and start fresh.

Fast forward to her most recent appointment (bottom photo), and look at the difference!

Appropriate volume, improved shape, and a beautifully defined lip border.

Sometimes the best thing I can do as your injector is tell you what you don’t need because the goal isn’t just fuller lips. It’s BETTER lips.
