Support your child’s nervous system this school year with these A+ Back to School Tips! 📚 🧠

1️⃣ Backpack Basics
Poor backpack habits can lead to posture issues, spinal stress, and aches & pains. Protect growing spines & developing nervous systems by:

✔️ Packing heavier items closest to the back
✔️ Using both straps
✔️ Utilizing chest or waist straps to evenly distribute weight
✔️ Keeping it under 10-15% of body weight

2️⃣ Keep Them Moving
Kids sit a lot during the school day which impacts physical, mental, and emotional health. Keep their bodies and brains engaged by encouraging:

✔️ After school play or exercise
✔️ Movement breaks every 30-60 minutes
✔️ Less screen time & prolonged sitting

3️⃣ Prioritize Rest & Routines
