Many clinicians are asking deeper questions about what culturally responsive, culturally affirming, and trauma-informed care truly looks like in practice.

At Cultivando Wellness, our continuing education trainings explore the historical, cultural, systemic, and intergenerational experiences that may shape the mental health and healing journeys of BIPOC, immigrant, collectivist, and historically marginalized communities.

These conversations are not about pathologizing culture. They are about deepening context, expanding understanding, and strengthening culturally responsive care.

Our upcoming June 4 training explores Marianismo, intergenerational trauma, colonialism, and culturally grounded clinical approaches for supporting Latine clients and families.

If you’ve been wanting continuing education spaces that integrate cultural context, reflection, and practical application, we’d love to have you join us.

At Cultivando Wellness, we believe continuing education can be a space for deeper reflection, meaningful dialogue, and learning that feels connected to the real experiences communities navigate every day.

Our CE program centers culturally responsive and culturally grounded approaches to care. Trainings are designed to support clinicians in expanding their perspectives, strengthening their practice, and exploring topics that are often underrepresented in traditional training spaces.

Through these offerings, we also hope to create opportunities for therapists, educators, and professionals to share knowledge, lived experience, and practical tools that can support more thoughtful and inclusive care.

We look forward to continuing to grow this space and bringing more conversations, collaborations, and learning opportunities to our community.

Happy Día del Niño!

So much of this we knew at one point… and somewhere along the way, we started to forget.

But that part of you is still there. Today is just a small invitation to listen a little more closely.

I’m hosting a small in-person space this Sunday, Celebrating Your Inner Niña, for anyone wanting to slow down and reconnect.

And next week, we’re offering a training for therapists on inner child work and supporting clients in this process.

Marianismo is something we often see in therapy, but without context, it can be misunderstood.

When we begin to name these patterns, we can start to understand them beyond the individual, looking at family systems, culture, and survival.

In our upcoming training, Epigenetics & Marianismo, we’ll explore how these patterns show up across generations and how to work with them in a culturally grounded way.

We’re also offering an Inner Child training in May, and there is a bundle option available for those interested in attending both.

A limited number of sliding scale spots are available. If you need support with signing up, feel free to reach out.

Join us for this CE opportunity. Inner Child Healing and Culturally Grounded Practices: Clinical Applications for Trauma-Informed Care with Latinx Communities, is designed for clinicians who want to deepen their understanding of how early experiences shape the clients they work with.

When supporting Latinx clients, early experiences are often shaped not only by family dynamics, but also by migration, generational roles, cultural expectations, and systemic barriers. These experiences can influence emotional patterns, relationships, and the ways clients make meaning of their world.

Bringing awareness to this context can support more intentional, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care.

In this training, participants will explore how inner child concepts show up in clinical practice and ways to support Latinx clients through insight, connection, and culturally grounded approaches.

This is a live virtual training offering 3 continuing education credits.

Presented by Cynthia Alonzo, LCSW in collaboration with Cultivando Wellness, an ASWB ACE Provider.
