✨Comment “ME” for my free TCM Fertility Grocery List✨
At 36, I’m apparently entering my ✨geriatric pregnancy era✨ 😂
But after my first pregnancy ended unexpectedly at 24 weeks due to a placental abruption, preparing my body for another pregnancy feels really important to me.
There are things we can’t control. And my first pregnancy was one of those things.
But there are things I can do now to support my overall health, nourishment, digestion, and fertility as I prepare for hopefully another pregnancy. 🤍
As a TCM doctor, I’m leaning into some of the simple principles I use with my patients:
🧦 Keeping my feet + lower body warm
🍲 Prioritizing warm, cooked foods
🧊 Skipping the iced drinks
🤎 Keeping my abdomen + low back covered and warm
😴 Giving my body plenty of rest and nourishment
None of this is about being perfect. It’s about creating a foundation where my body feels supported.
One of my favorite TCM concepts is that warmth supports movement, nourishment, and growth.
And when you’re hoping to grow a baby, creating a warm and nourished environment feels like a pretty beautiful place to start.
If you’re preparing for pregnancy too, I’d love to know:
