Helping to make cancer patients aware that they can keep their hair with scalp cooling during treatment. Most cancer patients do not have to loose their hair during and after chemotherapy treatments. Scalp cooling on "chemo days" will help cancer patients keep a positive outlook, maintain a sense of control during a difficult time and provide some much needed “normalcy” while fighting cancer.

Penguin Cold Caps are in the East Valley Tribune ~ Statement regarding my oncologist being worried about scalp mets is a miss quote. He had no concerns there - he just didn't think they would work. He was certainly surprised when he saw I kept my hair and now has since recommneded them to other cancer patients :)http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/local/health/article_4e2b6124-d075-11e1-b06d-0019bb2963f4.html

Losing one's hair is hardly unique for a woman battling cancer. It’s a common result of chemotherapy.
