Usually I’m worried about tongue posture & sleep…Currently worried about baby’s position. 😂🤰🏻And what sleep? 🫠 Curb walking & hopefully baby gets the memo. 🤍

We all know babies come when they’re ready. 🤍

Mamas, what did you do to pass the time while waiting for baby to make their debut? 👇

Think we only treat babies & kids? We love adults too! 🤍 Helping adults connect the dots is one of our favorite parts of what we do. 😊

Many adults spend years thinking symptoms like mouth breathing, snoring, teeth grinding, jaw tension, poor sleep, or difficulty swallowing are just “normal.” They’re not.

Sometimes the missing piece is oral function and airway health.

You’re never too old to find answers, and it’s never too late to improve how you breathe, sleep, and function.

Does this sound like you, but you don’t know where to start? We triage & game plan your airway journey…and it is a journey!

These adults tethered oral tissue release with us was just one step in their journey. The real transformation came from combining the release with dedicated myofunctional therapy before and after the procedure. That’s where lasting changes happen.

A huge congratulations to these incredible adults for investing in themselves and completing their myofunctional therapy program with My Myo I Myofunctional Therapy Phoenix, AZ and Virtual 👏👏🫶🙌

We’re so proud of their commitment to their health. 🤍 Need guidance? Connect with us!👇

Sometimes, helping your child leads to answers about your own health. After learning her son had a tongue tie, she realized she had one too.

What this mom thought was “normal”: mouth breathing, neck tension, poor sleep, teeth grinding, and difficulty swallowing pills, may have been connected to restricted tongue function all along.

A special thank you to My Myo My Health for their incredible preparation and post-release aftercare. The right support before and after a tongue-tie release can make all the difference. 🤍

If milk is leaking everywhere during every feeding, your baby is gassy and unhappy, keep reading.

Benjamin’s parents had already done everything “right.” He was in the best hands with & 🩷

✔️ Lactation support.
✔️ Bodywork.
✔️ Endless troubleshooting.

But he was still:
• leaking milk with every feed
• swallowing air
• painfully gassy
• fussy and uncomfortable
• leaving everyone wondering, “Why is this still so hard?”

Three months later, he’s a completely different baby.

Happy.
Comfortable.
Growing.
Thriving. 🤍

Sometimes feeding struggles aren’t about trying harder; they’re about finding the missing piece.

Not every baby with feeding challenges needs a tongue tie or lip tie release, but every family deserves someone who will step back, look at the whole picture, and help them understand why feeding feels so difficult.

To every parent cleaning up milk-soaked burp cloths after every feed and wondering if this is just “normal”…

You deserve answers, too.

If this story sounds like your baby, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Contact us to schedule a consultation and let’s find the “why” behind your baby’s feeding struggles.🙏🤍

Airway dentistry gets weird…because the body is connected! 🙃 Iykyk.

I’ve been down the airway rabbit hole for years as an airway-focused pediatric dentist, and if there’s one takeaway I wish everyone understood, it’s this: Nasal breathing matters.👃🤍 My most overused phrase is “Noses are for breathing. Mouths are for eating.”

🚨 If you’re sleeping with your mouth open, waking up with a dry mouth, snoring to any degree, or constantly feeling congested, your body may be trying to tell you something. The nose isn’t optional, it’s the breathing organ we were designed to use.

Your nose is much more than a hole for air. It’s your body’s built-in air filter, humidifier, heater, and nitric oxide producer. When you breathe through your nose, you’re delivering cleaner, warmer, more oxygen-efficient air to your lungs.🌬️

Mouth breathing bypasses all of that.

Over time, chronic mouth breathing can contribute to:
👃 Dry mouth
😴 Poor sleep quality
😮 Snoring
🦷 Increased risk of cavities and gum disease
🧠 Difficulty focusing
😵 Fatigue
📈 Increased stress on the body

The goal isn’t to tape every mouth shut or obsess over every breath.

🕵🏻 The goal is to ask why someone can’t comfortably breathe through their nose in the first place.

Next time you catch yourself breathing through your mouth, ask yourself: “Why can’t I comfortably breathe through my nose?” The answer may tell you more about your health than you realize. 👃

Most people think restrictive tongue ties only affect babies and children. This 72 year old patient’s story proves otherwise.🤍

This story is a reminder that meaningful change can happen at any age, but it also highlights the power of having the right team.👏

She initially presented with sleep disturbance issues, snoring, TMJ dysfunction, some speech and swallowing difficulties…challenges she had been living with for years.

Her general dentist identified the restriction, but instead of rushing to a release, recognized that function needed to be addressed first. 💯🔥They referred her for myofunctional therapy, where she put in the work to improve her oral function and movement patterns before considering a procedure.🙌

The results have been nothing short of amazing.🥳

This is what collaborative care looks like: providers collaborating, and putting the patient’s long term success ahead of quick fixes.🥰

A huge thank you to her general dentist, and most importantly, to this wonderful patient for trusting the process.

You’re never too old to improve function.🩷

3.5 month follow up after tongue and lip tie releases for this sweet baby.🥰

This family made a thoughtful decision to move forward with a tongue and lip tie release for their 4 week old and baby #2 after first building a strong foundation with lactation support and bodywork with their chiropractor.

When feeding challenges persisted despite addressing function, tension, and compensation patterns, we decided together that a release was the next best step.

One of my favorite parts of this work is helping families make informed decision, not rushed decisions.

A tongue tie release doesn’t automatically fix feeding, sleep, tension, or breathing concerns. The best outcomes often happen when we prepare the body first and treat the whole baby, not just the tissue.

Thank you to this family for trusting the process and sharing their experience. 😊
