We love seeing our residents get creative, share some laughs, and enjoy a little hands-on holiday fun!

Last night, our residents at The Waterford at Mesquite were treated to an evening of magic, comedy, and plenty of laughter thanks to the hilarious and talented Russell Turner! 🎭🎩

From mind-boggling tricks to laugh-out-loud moments, Russell kept our residents entertained and smiling throughout the show!

There’s nothing quite like an evening filled with laughter, a little mystery, and great company! ❤️

🚨 Don’t Get Tricked by a Scam! 🚨

Our October Senior Living Tips are here, and this month we’re focusing on an important topic for seniors and their families: Scam Safety Tips.

Scammers are becoming more convincing every day, using phone calls, text messages, emails, social media, and even impersonating trusted organizations or family members. Knowing the warning signs can make all the difference!

🔐 Never give out personal or financial information to an unexpected caller.
📱 Be cautious of urgent requests for money or gift cards.
✉️ Don’t click suspicious links in texts or emails.
⏰ Slow down—scammers often create a false sense of urgency.
👨‍👩‍👧 When in doubt, check with a trusted family member or friend before taking action.

One of the best defenses against scams is simply stopping, asking questions, and trusting your instincts. If something doesn’t feel right, it probably deserves a second look.

What a wonderful turnout at the Mesquite Active Adult Health & Wellness Expo! 💜

The Waterford at Mesquite had the pleasure of connecting with more than 200 active adults from our local community and sharing all that The Waterford has to offer.

A special thank-you to my wonderful partner, Caitlyn with Select Rehabilitation, for joining me and providing fall risk assessments throughout the event. We loved meeting everyone and being part of such a fun and informative day focused on health, wellness, and active living!
