Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease Can Start Suddenly
A child with HFMD may first develop fever, fatigue, sore throat, or reduced appetite. Painful sores inside the mouth and a rash or small blisters on the hands and feet may appear afterward.
Pay particular attention to hydration. If your child is struggling to drink, appears unusually weak, or develops worsening symptoms, prompt medical evaluation may be needed.
ER of Mesquite is available 24/7 for urgent pediatric emergency care.
