Meet Our Team!
Harold Palma
Community Liaison
My name is Harold Palma. I’m originally from Tela, Honduras, C.A. My family relocated to the United States in 1980. I grew up in Uptown New Orleans. I met my wife in 1991 and were married in 1996. We moved to the Northshore where we raised our five amazing children. I’ve been involved in healthcare for over 25 years with 22 in hospice care. I found my passion helping patients and their families. I am a firefighter and work also as an emergency medical responder with Acadian Ambulance. I am a tried and true New Orleans Saints fan and season ticket holder. I also love soccer and I will be cheering for the men’s team USA in the World Cup.
I have been dedicated to serving my community in hospice care. Throughout this time, I have supported numerous families during challenging times and witnessed the profound impact of compassionate end-of-life care. Additionally, my experience serving as first responder has providing me with a unique perspective on healthcare that encompasses both urgent medical interventions and palliative care services.
Having experienced both sides of patient care, I am well-equipped to address the diverse needs and concerns of individuals facing critical health decisions. My approach is rooted in honesty, empathy, and a commitment to empower families to make informed choices regarding hospice care versus aggressive treatment options. I firmly believe that end-of-life decisions are deeply personal and require comprehensive support and guidance.
I am eager to extend my services to support your patients and their loved ones. Our organization is dedicated to providing personalized care and assistance in navigating complex healthcare decisions. We are prepared to work closely with your team to ensure that every patient receives the tailored support they deserve.
