St Anthony has served the elderly, disabled and those in need of temporary rehab services in the Gre St. Although located in Metairie, St.

Anthony Community Care Center, became a member of the Louisiana-based, non-profit, CommCare family on December 1, 2021. The skilled nursing and rehabilitation center provides short term nursing care and rehabilitation recovering form illnesses and conditions like stroke, cardiac events, pnemonia or falls, as well as long term care for those with chronic conditions. She has been with us for about 1 year and 4 months. Kori always shows up with a positive attitude.She loves to have fun with her residents and co-workers and always brightens their days.

This is how we observed Memorial Day at St. Anthony! 🇺🇸🎖️

The POW/MIA ceremony (also known as the "Missing Man Table" ceremony) is a solemn, symbolic military tradition observed in the United States. It honors Prisoners of War (POW) and those Missing in Action (MIA), reminding Americans of the service members who never returned home and the ongoing mission to account for them.

We also had our residents observe Memorial Day by wearing Poppy and with the ceremony by the POW-MIA! 🇺🇸

The POW-MIA “The Missing Man Table” WAS presented BY Civil Lt. Col. Hunton of the Louisiana Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, and the cadets representing the Pontchartrain Cadet Squadron.

Meet our May Employee of the month- Stacey “Sunshine”, LPN! 💉💊

She has only been with us for about 4 months, but she has made a positive impact since day 1. Stacey is a highly competent nurse and consistently delivers quality care to our residents. She is compassionate and always puts our residents’ needs first. Stacey is a loyal and dedicated nurse and a positive role model in our home.

We are truly grateful to have her as part of our St. Anthony’s family! 💙

A huge thank you to St. Mary Magdalen Church in Metairie for their incredible generosity! Much of our beautiful St. Joseph’s Altar at St. Anthony’s Community Care Center was donated by them—breads, fruits, symbolic items, and so much love. 🌹🍋🥖Our residents are overjoyed with this tradition of gratitude and provision. St. Joseph, protector of the vulnerable, pray for us and bless our donors! 🤍❤️💚
