Nagging wrist pain isn't something you should ignore. Wrist tendonitis is often caused by repetitive movements like typing, texting, using a computer mouse, playing sports, or performing physical labor. Left untreated, the pain and stiffness can make even simple daily activities difficult.

"Right now, someone in America has no idea this is their last day with all 10 fingers."
Dr. Donnelly says: "It sounds dramatic — but as a hand surgeon, I can tell you it is unfortunately very real. Around the Fourth of July, fireworks injuries increase sharply, and hands and fingers are the most commonly injured body part. These injuries are not just minor burns. Fireworks can cause severe burns, fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, vascular injuries, and amputations. Please celebrate safely."

💥 Never hold a lit firework
💥 Don't try to relight a "dud"
💥 Keep fireworks away from children
💥Light one at a time, on the ground, and move away quickly
💥Keep water nearby
💥Remember that sparklers can also cause serious burns

Enjoy the Fourth — but please protect your hands!
