He also has a strong interest in robotic surgery in order to provide the latest advanced surgical technology to his patients. He is board certified in general surgery by the

American Board of Surgery and has completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery, during which time he focused on Advanced Laparoscopy, Bariatric, Colorectal, and Robotic Surgery. After finishing his surgical training under many pioneers of surgery, he returned to New Orleans and joined the Surgical Specialists of Louisiana (www.WhyWeight.com). So proud of Wayne! Incredible first year success. Losing any amount of weight is the goal but down 244 pounds is remarkable and absolutely incredible. He has done very well with doing this in a healthy way by hydrating appropriately and getting his adequate protein in. He has increased his mobilization and ambulation and exercises as well. He’s also taking his vitamins and his blood work looks incredible. Coming down from over 500 pounds is a long way and he is crushing it. Keep up your hard work and I’m so excited for our next chapter.
