A neck lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to improve the appearance of the neck and jawline by addressing common signs of aging, such as sagging skin, excess fat, muscle banding (often called “turkey neck”), and loss of definition under the chin.

Profile plasty (or profileplasty) is a cosmetic surgical approach that enhances the side view (profile) of the face by improving the balance and harmony between key features, primarily the nose and chin. It most commonly combines rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) with chin augmentation, often via a chin implant

The nose and chin are the two most prominent profile features. A disproportionately large nose or recessed (weak) chin can make the other appear exaggerated. For example, a receding chin can make the nose look larger than it is, while reducing the nose without addressing the chin may leave the profile unbalanced. Combining the procedures creates better facial proportions, a stronger jawline definition, and an overall more aesthetically pleasing silhouette.

Why Combine Rhinoplasty and Chin Implant?
•  Facial harmony:
I often recommend evaluating the chin during rhinoplasty consultations. A small or underprojected chin (microgenia) can undermine rhinoplasty results.
•  Enhanced results: Addressing both yields more natural, balanced outcomes than either procedure alone. Long-term studies show maintained improvements in profile aesthetics.
•  Efficiency: Both can often be performed in a single surgery under general anesthesia, with one recovery period.
