Hey, it’s Elise! I hope this helps you get to know me a little more.

In creating this, I can see how each version led me here. From dance, to media, to becoming a therapist, my path hasn’t been linear, but it’s been intentional.

Each phase taught me something about identity, resilience, and what it means to live a life that feels aligned.

This space wasn’t created from having all the answers. It was created from asking bigger questions and learning how to sit with uncertainty.

My work is shaped by curiosity, ongoing learning, and a deep belief that healing is not about fixing, but about understanding yourself with more compassion.

Now I get to sit with people as they explore what they’ve been through, who they’re becoming, and what it means to live more authentically.

If you’re here, maybe you’re willing to explore those questions too. ✨✨✨

A reintroduction feels overdue.
When I look back, I can see the thread so clearly now: the girl who grew up dancing, the young woman who found yoga early, the version of me who moved to Miami with vision but no roadmap. The student, the grieving sister, the clinician still deeply committed to her own inner work.
None of these versions of me disappeared. They live inside the way I practice today.
Holistic Health Healing was never built from theory alone. It was shaped by years of listening closely to the body, to grief, and to the quiet courage it takes to begin again.
Now I have the privilege of sitting with people in life’s most tender moments. This work is deeply relational, rooted in trust, and guided by the belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to tell the truth.
If you’re new here, I’m so glad you found this space.
And if you’ve been here a while, thank you for growing alongside me.
With love,
Hilary

Five years of Holistic Health Healing. 🧿

What five years of building this practice have taught me about myself:

One: The most important non-negotiable as a therapist is my own therapy.
The deeper I have committed to my own mental health and psychoanalysis, the more my sense of self-worth and confidence has shifted. My client work is only as honest as my relationship with my own inner world.

Two: The clients I am meant to work with are the ones willing to talk openly about their resistance to investing in themselves and committing to their inner process.
Those who ghost, hesitate, or stay on the fence are not a reflection of me. Deep therapy requires readiness. That truth has brought me a lot of peace.

Three: I will always have a dog in my office.
For me. For my clients. For the nervous system. This matters more than it might seem.

Four: Community is essential.
Being in ongoing consultation and connection with other therapists is not optional. It is how I stay grounded, ethical, and alive in this work.

Five: I no longer question the value I bring into the room.
I consistently reinvest in my therapeutic skills and my business. I am a capable therapist who can hold complex life experiences. I trust myself, my skill, and the robust career ahead of me, especially in the world we are living in now.

Five years in, I feel steadier, clearer, and more committed to my clients.
It is truly a privilege to do this work.

There are moments in life that words can’t touch.✨

When someone you love is grieving, healing, or beginning again, it can be hard to know how to show up.

Holding Hearts was created from the recognition that most sympathy gestures, though well-intentioned, lack true therapeutic substance. Each box blends empathy, psychology, and tangible healing tools to bring comfort that lasts long after the flowers fade.

The Grief and Postpartum Boxes were designed as quiet companions for the moments when life shifts in ways we cannot prepare for.

Pre order pricing is open through November 21.
Link in bio to reserve your box; I deeply appreciate your support in the beginnings of this new therapeutic venture. 🫶🏼

For the moments that ask for more than words. 💞

We’re never ready to say goodbye.

For me, grief isn’t just a word. It has been the backdrop of my life these past four years.

I lost my sister, and with her, the family I thought I’d always have. I watched my dad decline for 15 years, and his passing came in tandem with losing Heather.

I’ve wrestled with the ways grief reshaped me: in my body, in my work, even in my faith in the world.

Grief unmade me. It broke me open in ways I never asked for. But it also taught me that healing is never linear, never quick, and never something you do alone.

If you’re grieving, know this:
✨ You don’t have to do it perfectly.
✨ You don’t have to do it alone.
✨ And your grief is not a weakness. It’s love, carried forward.

Today, I honor my sister. I honor my dad. I honor the woman I’ve become in the storm of grief. And I honor you — anyone carrying a loss that can’t be seen but is always felt.

💛You’re not alone here.

Living with PTSD means carrying memories in the body — often long after the mind tries to move on.
Through somatic practice, I’ve learned that healing happens when we gently return home to ourselves, again and again.

Forever grateful for the deep, body-centered wisdom of my teacher, Kate Shela, who reminds me that my body is not only my story — it’s my sanctuary. 🤍

Trauma isn’t just a story we tell — it’s a sensation we carry.
In our jaw.
In our chest.
In the way we flinch, freeze, or leave ourselves behind.

As Bessel van der Kolk reminds us in The Body Keeps the Score, healing begins when we come back into relationship with our body — when we learn to feel safe inside our own skin.

This is the heart of somatic therapy.
Tiny shifts.
A deeper breath.
A moment of presence.

✨ Subtle movement, profound impact.

At Holistic Health Healing, we honor the quiet intelligence of the body — and create space for you to gently reclaim it.
