🧠 Apraxia, Dyspraxia & Praxia — What’s the Difference?

✨ Praxia is the ability to plan and carry out movements.

✨ Dyspraxia is a difficulty with motor planning and coordination, making everyday tasks more challenging.

✨ Apraxia is a motor speech disorder that affects the brain’s ability to plan and coordinate the movements needed for speech.

Although these terms sound similar, they describe very different skills and challenges. Understanding the difference helps us better support our children’s communication, motor development, and independence. 💙
