Serving our communities means showing up when people need us most. 💙💚🧡

At South Florida Donor Network, we believe service extends beyond our mission. We are honored to partner with Centro AFE Miami in support of the ongoing humanitarian relief efforts for the people of Venezuela.

Among the many urgent needs was one no one ever hopes to face, helping secure body bags for recovery efforts. While heartbreaking, this support will help ensure those who are recovered are treated with dignity and may bring a measure of comfort to families waiting for answers.

We are deeply grateful to Centro AFE Miami for its unwavering commitment to serving both the people of Venezuela and families throughout South Florida through food assistance, community resources, and compassionate support.

Together, we stand with the people of Venezuela and remain committed to serving our communities with compassion, dignity, and hope.

Serving our community, together. 💙💚

When communities face unimaginable challenges, coming together can make all the difference.

Our team members Jazmin, Melva, and Mackenly, alongside dedicated volunteer Jessy Flores, were honored to volunteer with Global Empowerment Mission to support humanitarian relief efforts for the people of Venezuela following the recent earthquakes.

We're grateful for the opportunity to lend a helping hand alongside so many compassionate volunteers working to provide hope and essential resources to those in need.

A special thank you to Sunchy Sunshine Bottling for generously providing refreshments to the volunteers. Your kindness helped keep everyone energized throughout the day and was truly appreciated.

Together, we are reminded that service, compassion, and community have the power to make a meaningful difference.

Leadership is about purpose, service, and inspiring others, and Tyre Gray embodies all three.

As Chief Administrative and Legal Officer, Tyre brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across the legal, nonprofit, consulting, and healthcare sectors. He helps lead legal, strategic, and operational initiatives that advance the mission of South Florida Donor Network and strengthen organ donation and transplantation throughout the communities we serve.

Tyre's connection to this work is deeply personal. After being diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in his mid-20s, he received a lifesaving kidney transplant in 2012. Today, he has come full circle, helping lead the organization connected to the team that gave him a second chance at life.

His passion, leadership, and commitment to expanding access to transplantation continue to inspire hope and make a lasting impact on the donation and transplant community.

Every medal earned, every finish line crossed, and every story shared is a powerful tribute to the heroic donors and families who made these second chances possible.

Congratulations to Team Florida, our incredible volunteers, and everyone who represented our donation and transplant community with pride. Thank you to Miami Community Newspapers for helping share these inspiring stories and raise awareness about the importance of donation.
