How can aquatic therapy work for you?

Buoyancy – Being submerged in water reduces the pressure of gravity and therefore it is easier and less painful to move our joints
🦵🏿🦵🏽🦵🏻

Hydrostatic pressure – The pressure of water creates a hemodynamic shift from an area with greater pressure to an area of lesser pressure causing an increase in blood flow, which can reduce edema and soft tissue/joint swelling

Strength- Water causes resistance that is much greater than air allowing your body to strengthen when in motion under water

Reduction of abnormal tone- manual techniques like oscillation performed in the water can significantly reduce and help to manage tone or spasticity in people suffering from these conditions

I want all of my clients to feel safe having me in their personal spaces. Getting vaccinated was the only way to ensure that I will be part of the solution. This was not a decision that I took lightly and I encourage each person to talk to their health care providers, do the research and make the decision that is right for you.
