What can you expect on the day of your procedure?
In this video, our amazing post-operative nurse, Kathleen, guides you through what to expect on the day of your procedure.
☀️ Pre-Op
→ The morning of your procedure, arrive to our surgical facility
→ Kathleen will greet you and help you change into your gown and prepare for your procedure by checking your vital signs and asking you a bit more about your past medical history
→ Dr. Tzankis will come in to start your IV
→ Dr. Charafeddine will come in and answer any last questions you have
🩺 The Procedure
→ After you’re prepped, Kathleen will bring you into the OR
→ The procedure generally takes between 2.5 - 3.5 hours
⏳ Post-Op
→ Head into the recovery room with Kathleen where she’ll give you some apple juice and water, as well as Tylenol to ease any discomfort you may have
→ You’ll spend about an hour and a half in the post-op recovery suite
