Grief isn't something you "get over" it's something you learn to live with over time.

Many people are surprised when feelings of sadness return months or even years after a loss. A familiar song, a special date, a favorite place, or an unexpected memory can bring a wave of emotion when you least expect it. These moments don't mean you're moving backward or that you've failed to heal. They are a natural part of the grieving process.

Grief is deeply personal, and there is no universal timeline for how long it should last. Some days may feel lighter, while others may bring renewed sadness, love, or longing. Both experiences can exist at the same time.

At Buxani Counseling Care, we provide compassionate, evidence-based support for individuals navigating grief and loss. You don't have to carry your grief alone, and it's okay to seek help at any stage of your healing journey.

Give yourself permission to grieve in your own way, at your own pace. 💙

Many of the ways we respond to stress, relationships, and emotions as adults can be influenced by experiences from childhood.

Inner child healing is the process of recognizing how early experiences may continue to shape your thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors today. It isn't about blaming your past or reliving painful memories it's about understanding yourself with greater compassion and learning healthier ways to respond to your emotional needs.

Healing your inner child can help improve self-worth, strengthen relationships, reduce emotional reactivity, and create a greater sense of safety within yourself. While this journey looks different for everyone, it is possible with the right support.

At Buxani Counseling Care, we provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to help individuals process childhood experiences, heal emotional wounds, and build healthier patterns for the future.

Healing your past isn't about changing what happened it's about changing what happens next. 💙

What does it really mean to be a humanitarian? 💙🌍

We often think of humanitarianism as something extraordinary helping during a crisis, supporting a community, or making a significant difference in someone’s life.

But I believe it begins much closer to home.

As a therapist, I see humanitarianism in the small, everyday ways we choose to treat one another.

It can be listening to someone without judgment.
It can be sitting with someone through their pain instead of trying to immediately fix it.
It can be asking, “How are you really doing?” and genuinely staying to hear the answer.

Sometimes, people don't need perfect advice. They simply need to feel seen, heard, and understood.

And that feeling of being understood can be incredibly powerful.

Mental health support is also a form of humanitarian care. Creating safe spaces where people can talk about anxiety, trauma, grief, family struggles, or emotional pain without feeling ashamed reminds us that vulnerability is not weakness it is part of being human.

We may not always realize the impact of our actions. A compassionate conversation, a moment of patience, a kind message, or simply showing up for someone can become a moment they remember during a difficult time.

Humanity isn't always found in grand gestures. Sometimes, it lives in the way we make another person feel.

This World Humanitarian Day, let’s remember that caring for humanity starts with caring for the human being in front of us.

Let’s choose empathy over judgment.
Kindness over indifference.
Understanding over assumptions.
Connection over isolation.

Because sometimes, the smallest act of compassion can become someone else’s first step toward healing. 💙

Panic attacks and intense anxiety can feel overwhelming, and because many of their symptoms overlap, it's easy to confuse one with the other.

A panic attack typically comes on suddenly, reaches its peak within minutes, and may include symptoms like a racing heart, shortness of breath, dizziness, chest discomfort, or a fear that something terrible is about to happen. In contrast, what many people call an "anxiety attack" is not a formal clinical diagnosis but is commonly used to describe a gradual increase in anxiety related to ongoing stress or worry.

Understanding the difference can help you better recognize what you're experiencing and take the next step toward getting the support you need. If anxiety or panic is interfering with your daily life, know that effective treatment is available.

At Buxani Counseling Care, we provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to help individuals manage anxiety, reduce panic symptoms, and build healthier coping strategies.

You don't have to face anxiety alone. 💙

Young people today are growing up in a world filled with opportunities but also with unique pressures. Academic expectations, social media, relationships, uncertainty about the future, and the constant pressure to "have it all together" can take a significant toll on mental health.

International Youth Day is a reminder that supporting young people means more than celebrating their achievements. It means creating safe spaces where they feel heard, understood, and comfortable asking for help when they need it. Early support, open conversations, and access to mental health care can make a lasting difference in a young person's life.

At Buxani Counseling Care, we are committed to supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through compassionate, evidence-based therapy. By helping young people build resilience, emotional awareness, and healthy coping skills, we empower them to navigate life's challenges with confidence.

This International Youth Day, let's continue to listen, support, and remind every young person that their mental health matters. 💙

Depression isn't always visible.

Many people imagine depression as constant sadness, but it can also show up as ongoing exhaustion, loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed, difficulty concentrating, irritability, changes in sleep or appetite, or simply feeling like you're getting through each day without truly living it. Some people continue meeting their responsibilities while silently struggling, making it difficult for others to recognize what they're experiencing.

Recognizing these signs is not about labeling yourself it's about understanding when it may be time to seek support. Depression is a treatable mental health condition, and you don't have to face it alone.

At Buxani Counseling Care, we provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to help individuals understand depression, develop healthy coping strategies, and take meaningful steps toward healing.

Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. 💙
