The Desert Glow White Party set the tone for the final stretch of PANP360. ✨

Saturday night on the lawn brought hair tinsel installations, branded keychains, and for the bravest amongst us, karaoke with a live band. A fitting send-off into the last day in Scottsdale.

Sunday's GLP-1 Workshop opened with collaborative conversations on GLP-1 receptor agonists in psoriasis management, featuring a patient advocate perspective. The general session closed out with rapid-fire updates across hyperpigmentary disorders, seborrheic dermatitis, scarring hair loss, and dermoscopy, before final remarks from the chairs.

That's a wrap on PANP360 West 2026!

When is the right time to refer for Mohs, and what happens in the gap?

As systemic options expand, referral timing and coordination are taking on a bigger role in outcomes.

Between scheduling delays, evolving lesions, and shifting treatment plans, the “in-between” period often requires active management from both dermatology and Mohs teams.

In this Topical Conversations episode, Aaron Farberg, MD, and George Monks, MD, discuss how clinicians are approaching that window in real-world practice, including where systemic therapy may fit.

May 24 is Global Actinic Keratosis Day — an excellent moment to ask the harder question: are we treating lesions, or are we treating the field?

Most of us know the answer. The challenge is building a plan patients will actually follow.

🎧 Ep. 13, The Spot Check — Field Therapy & the Bigger Picture of AK Care

David Seiter, NP, brings the kind of clinical realism this topic needs. Inside the episode:

Choosing the right topical for the right patient: matching agent to skin type, lifestyle, and tolerance threshold
Pre-treatment counseling that sets expectations and protects adherence through the downtime
Where Polypodium leucotomos and nicotinamide actually fit into long-term prevention (and where they don't)
Building a maintenance framework patients return to, not one they retreat from

Hosted by Jamie Restivo, MPAS, PA-C.

Seiter's approach won't change what you prescribe. It'll change how you frame the entire conversation around it.

May 24 is Global Actinic Keratosis Day — and if you're in derm, you know AKs aren't a lesion problem. They're a field, adherence, and follow-through problem.

Patients who progress are usually not those who never received treatment. They're the ones who got treated once, didn't tolerate it, and never came back.

That's where this episode comes in.

🎧 Ep. 8, The Spot Check — Let There Be Light: Integrating PDT into Clinical Practice for AKs

Fabrizio Galimberti, MD, PhD, delivers one of the most practice-ready PDT conversations we've recorded.

Inside:
-Patient selection criteria that predict response and tolerability
-Incubation optimization: what the literature supports vs. what actually works in clinic
-Painless PDT protocols and why they're changing adherence rates
-Scheduling and workflow pearls that make PDT sustainable in a high-volume practice

Hosted by Jamie Restivo, MPAS, PA-C.

If PDT is already in your toolkit, Galimberti will sharpen it. If it isn't yet, this is the episode that gets you there.
