⚓ CAPTAIN OF MY OWN BODY ⚓

As we begin another summer at My Therapy Center, we encourage families to use these visuals as a reminder that every child is growing toward greater independence.

Being the “Captain of My Own Body” means learning to listen to your body, make safe choices, build healthy habits, and take ownership of daily responsibilities.

Growth doesn’t happen all at once. It happens through small moments, repeated every day:
⭐ Brushing teeth
⭐ Getting dressed
⭐ Trying new foods
⭐ Following routines
⭐ Communicating needs
⭐ Making good choices

Use this visual as a guide throughout the summer and celebrate each step toward independence.

After all, confident children become capable children.

☀️ Bonus Idea:
Print it out and let your child place a sticker each time they accomplish a goal!
