Back to school day one!
I have been working really hard to archive my goals as a practitioner anywhere I go. I don’t want to give up on my career. I love to help people in the healing process.
I’m a licensed Acupuncturist in NY and Brasil, now I’m seeking to become once more, licensed in a different state. In the US each state has its own regulation which can be very frustrating. It’s not easy to stop working with what we love, to restart, but I will get there and hopefully soon I will have the chance of treating new patients and to keep working in the beautiful path of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I recently move to Miami and I can’t wait to start treating new patients. I miss all my patients from NY and I’m grateful for the trust and the opportunity you gave me in life. I wish all of you the most beautiful healing journey.

Today honoring Dr. Miriam Lee (1926-2009) for “In 1976, Miriam was one of the very first to be licensed as an acupuncturist in the state of California. In 1974, she was arrested for practicing medicine without a license. At her trial, her patients filled the courtroom in protest of her arrest, claiming their right to the only medicine that had truly helped them. Within a few days, acupuncture was legally made an "experimental procedure" by Governor Ronald Reagan. According to TCM, the Meridian system or Channel network is a path through which the life-energy, known as Qi, flows.
We can simply think that a meridian could be Avenues and Qi are the cars.
By studying the channels and points and their pathway, we can have a better idea of which point to choose and why a point in the finger for example, can treat problems in the head. Also the map of the meridians can help us to identify the possible root of the problem and gives us the idea of how important is to understand that the body is all connected.
Acupuncture improves the flowing of the Qi.
