On day 33, the Lord proclaimed, “I have healed ye knee. Go forth and wack golf balls.” And so fate was decided. I went to the range. The sun was out. The course was empty. The butterflies were in my stomach. Just me and the sticks.

What a beautiful feeling to return to the game.

Day 31 rehabbing from meniscectomy

Rehab is getting to a point where it’s way more about strength, endurance, and load management and less about post op recovery.

We split up my rehab into 2 days (A/B) so I’ll show you the second day here soon

DAY 21: a message from the heart. Thank you! 🙏

Day 20 rehabbing meniscectomy: phase 0 is complete!

Regained full knee extension & flexion with no antalgic gait or visible swelling. That means we are clear to move on to the next phase: strengthening 😈

I told Monica I wanted to start concentric/eccentric contractions for quad strength and she politely told me to shut up and so instead we are incorporating closed chain isometrics with positions that bio mechanically target the quads.

I’m really happy to be out of the post-op phase and into this next phase of rehabilitation.

Day 14 rehabbing from a meniscectomy and I rode the bike for the first time in over a year and a half 🥲

As we approach the 2 week mark I’ve got:
✅ full knee extension
✅ > 120 degrees knee flexion
✅ normalized gait
✅ no pain on ADL’s
⚠️ minimal swelling (but not 0)
⚠️ good VMO activation (but not normalized patellar tracking)

Time to start isometrics!

Another BTS of physical therapy with .

This time we’re talking (negotiating) how I’m going to be structuring my rehabilitation responsibilities.

What you should pay attention to here is how she delivers excellent objective guidance on making sure every intervention we choose is correlated to an exit criteria outcome, while also allowing me to have agency in how I want it structured.

Every patient deserves to have a say in how their program or treatment will be conducted, and I’m thankful I have Monica to guide my energy in a productive way.

The good news is that my rehab is progressing great. I’m going back to work on a limited basis. My quad strength continues to improve. My gait gets better every day. My pain on knee extension is slowly getting less. All good things.

The bad news is I’m starting to remember why I stop making videos 2-3 weeks after I start every single time.

I hate producing content. It literally sucks the soul out of me and while I can appreciate the value social media and content will play in the future of our society, I’m not willing to sacrifice my health to participate in it.

Will do my best to keep yall informed on my recovery process somehow ❤️

Day 9 rehabbing from meniscectomy surgery and after an unfortunate delay my peptides got delivered.

I’m going to be running 250mcg BPC-157 2x/day and 2.5g TB500 2x/week for the next 6 weeks.

Eventually I’ll add on CJC1295(no dac) + Ipamorelin but am going to wait until I can start loading my rehab exercises a bit more.

Peptides are experimental DYOR NFA consult your healthcare provider etc
