What is group counseling, and how does it support individuals during reentry?

At Riverside House, group counseling provides a supportive and structured space where participants can work through challenges, learn from shared experiences, and build healthier relationships.

Guided by trained facilitators, sessions address communication, recovery, personal growth, responsibility, and conflict resolution. Participants also have the opportunity to strengthen emotional intelligence, practice accountability, build trust, and develop the skills they need to navigate life at home, at work, and in the community.

Through shared support and meaningful conversations, group counseling is one part of helping individuals move forward with greater confidence and stability. 💙

We are currently looking for a licensed barber who would be willing to volunteer their time and provide free haircuts for the people we serve at our center.
