This patient had been looking for a way to soften a deep glabellar crease that continued to bother him despite trying several approaches.

Because he experiences resistance to neurotoxin, he had already explored lasers and other skin treatments without achieving the improvement he was hoping for. Do you have under-eye bags or under-eye hollowness? There’s a difference.

A true tear trough is a hollow beneath the eye. But sometimes, what looks like a deep hollow is actually a shadow created by a protruding fat pad beneath the eye.

In this video, Cesar Fernandez MD explains the difference and shows what a herniated fat pad looks like on facial ultrasound.

Patients with herniated fat pads may be candidates for surgery with an oculoplastic surgeon. But for those who prefer to avoid surgery, we can offer a non-surgical alternative.

In appropriately selected patients, we can use filler to soften the transition beneath the fat pad and reduce the appearance of the shadow, creating a more rested, natural-looking result.

This patient has been an established patient of ours for years, regularly traveling from Trinidad 🇹🇹 to Miami to maintain and evolve her Facial Harmonization results with Cesar Fernandez MD . We’re grateful for her continued trust over the years.

More than a year before we introduced Endolift® Official by Eufoton® at Symmetrik MD, Dr. Fernandez had already identified her as someone who could potentially benefit from the technology while he was studying how it could complement the Facial Harmonization work we were already doing with patients like her.

When we were ready to bring into the practice, she was excited to take her results one step further.

For her treatment, Endolift I Eufoton USA was performed across 2 areas of the lower face to address:

After two surgical rhinoplasties, she wasn’t willing to undergo another surgery. She wanted a natural-looking improvement without going back to the operating room.

Her case was especially complex because much of the nasal bridge had been surgically shaved down, changing the anatomy beneath the skin and making this an even higher-risk injectable procedure.

Before treating, Cesar Fernandez MD used to map her anatomy, identify how her post-surgical structures differed, and visualize the location of important vessels. That information allowed him to plan and perform her with greater precision and the safest approach possible for her individual anatomy.

The result was a more balanced, natural-looking profile without putting her through another surgical revision. 🎯
