We are a Florida professional association dedicated to the clinical application of hypnosis by licensed physicians, dentists, psychologists, podiatrists, clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, chiropractors and nurses, who qualify for training and membership.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN! All information and a registration form may be found at https://www.fsch.org/intermediate-advanced-workshop-2. This is a two-part workshop to be presented via Zoom on Sunday, August 30, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm EDT. Florida licensed therapists will earn 6 CEU’s and all registrants will receive credit toward ASCH certification. All ASCH-approved courses are eligible for APA and CME credits.

The Level 1 Basic Workshop, presented via ZOOM on July 10, 11: 12, was a great weekend of learning with 18 outstanding participants. Stay tuned for a future Level 1 sometime in the fall by checking www.fsch.org. For those who have completed Level 1, Dr. Damis will present a Level 2 workshop on October 9, 10, 11. Mutter Scholarships are available to 6 student/intern FSCH members who will receive a 40% discount off the registration fee. Student memberships are $25 and entitle you to student rates at our Spring and Fall workshops as well.

Our sincere thanks to our esteemed speakers, Ciara Christensen, PhD, and David Patterson, PhD, ABPP, for presenting this weekend’s workshop in Orlando, “Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and Hypnosis for the Seriously Curious.” Superlative reviews were given by the outstanding group of attendees. We also thank our incoming FSCH President, Louis Damis, PhD, ABPP, and Board Member-at-Large Daniel Baughn, PhD, for their generous technical support. Our first day of the 2026 Spring Workshop is inspiring and is filled with learning, friendship, and much camaraderie. Our outgoing President, Chelle Epstein, DSW, LCSW-QS, was presented with a beautiful engraved paperweight by our incoming President, Louis Damis, PhD, ABPP, FASCH. Then Chelle awarded long-term member, past-president, board member, and beloved leader of The FSCH Pond, David Swindall, LMFT, M.Div, a plaque designating him as an esteemed Fellow of FSCH!

Yet another Level 2 workshop has completed with outstanding attendees from all over the U.S., Puerto Rico, and even Spain! Taught by Louis Damis, PhD, ABPP, FASCH, with able assistance from Laura Perry, PhD, LMHC, and Terry Newell, PsyD, it was a weekend of learning, sharing, and virtual camaraderie.
