Hanukah is a time that celebrates miracles. A time to be thankful and appreciate all the blessings we enjoy. In a world that seems riddled with conflict and violence, that can feel challenging. Recent violent acts in Europe, Australia, and even in our country cast a shadow on feeling appreciative. But there is always light to illuminate darkness and drive it away. Hanukah is, after all, a Festival of Lights. May we all enjoy a holiday season filled with light driving out darkness, illuminating all our blessings, and lasting to shine on all the blessings yet to come. Jewish or not, we can all use some blessings right now. So to all, whether you celebrate the holiday or not, may this be a Festival of Lights that brings blessings throughout the world.
