The Miami-Dade County Medical Association (MDCMA) was thrilled to participate in the Health Care Heroes Awards Luncheon hosted by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce celebrating the individuals and organizations shaping the future of healthcare in our community.

We were delighted to have our President-Elect, Dr. Julie Kantor, in attendance as we continue building momentum toward her Presidential Inauguration on June 13. Her professional trajectory, from professional ballerina to medical doctor, has inspired the theme of this year’s event: “Living a Dream in Miami.”

A Miami Dade College scholarship recipient, she is a graduate of both Florida International University and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and has dedicated her career to Pediatrics at Nicklaus Children's Hospital.
