Many of us have experienced the feeling of wanting what someone else has—a different life, more success, greater recognition, or the acceptance of others. But what if that desire is quietly pulling us away from our own happiness?

In this episode, Yamuna Devi reflects on comparison, self-worth, and the search for fulfillment through the wisdom of Ayurveda and spiritual living. She explores why looking outside ourselves for happiness often leaves us feeling empty, and how reconnecting with our inner nature can help us experience greater peace, gratitude, and joy.

Rather than judging ourselves for these feelings, Yamuna Devi encourages us to become aware of them with compassion. By asking honest questions about what we truly seek, we begin to recognize that everything we need already exists within us.

This conversation is a gentle reminder that every person has unique gifts, purpose, and beauty. When we stop comparing ourselves to others and begin honoring our own path, we create space for genuine happiness and inner freedom.

In this episode you'll learn:
* Why comparing yourself to others can diminish your happiness
* How desire can become a source of unnecessary suffering
* The connection between self-worth and inner fulfillment
* Why external validation can never replace inner peace
* Simple questions to help you understand your desires
* How Ayurveda encourages self-awareness and compassion
* The importance of honoring your unique gifts and purpose
* Finding lasting joy from within rather than seeking it outside yourself

This episode is for educational and inspirational purposes and is intended to support personal reflection and well-being.

With love,
Yamuna Devi

Many people believe that healing should happen in a straight line—that once we begin healing, we should continuously move forward without setbacks, challenges, or emotional ups and downs. But true healing does not work that way.

In this episode, Yamuna Devi explores the reality of the healing journey and why healing is not a linear process. Through personal reflections and spiritual insights, we discuss how triggers, challenges, and difficult experiences often reveal opportunities for deeper growth and self-understanding.

Rather than comparing our journey to someone else's, we can learn to honor our unique path and trust the lessons unfolding along the way.

In this episode we explore:

• Why healing is not a linear process
• Understanding emotional triggers as opportunities for growth
• The danger of comparing your healing journey to others
• Learning from life's challenges and experiences
• The purpose of personal growth and self-discovery
• Transforming pain into wisdom
• The importance of self-love and self-care
• How unresolved experiences reveal themselves through triggers
• Finding meaning in difficult moments
• Trusting the timing of your healing journey

Healing is not about perfection. It is about learning, growing, and becoming more compassionate with yourself through every stage of life.

No matter where you are on your journey, be patient with yourself. Every experience holds a lesson, every challenge offers growth, and every step forward matters.

With love,
Yamuna Devi

Grief is one of life's most profound experiences. No amount of reading, studying, or preparation can fully prepare us for the pain of losing someone we love. In this heartfelt episode, I share my personal journey through grief and loss, the lessons I have learned, and the practices that supported me through some of my most difficult moments.

Together, we explore self-compassion, emotional healing, Ayurveda, journaling, nature, rest, spiritual connection, and the importance of allowing ourselves to feel rather than suppress our emotions.

If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, a pet, a relationship, or any significant life transition, this conversation is for you. May it remind you that healing happens in its own time, that your emotions deserve to be honored, and that it is truly okay not to be okay.

Remember: one day at a time.

With love,
Yamuna Devi

As human beings, emotions are an essential part of our experience. Yet many of us spend years suppressing, avoiding, or trying to control our feelings. In this episode, Devi explores the difference between managing emotions and controlling them, and why emotional awareness is a powerful tool for healing and personal growth.

Through personal reflections and real-life experiences, we discuss how emotional triggers can reveal unresolved pain, hidden memories, and opportunities for deeper self-understanding. Rather than seeing emotions as problems to fix, we can learn to view them as teachers guiding us toward healing.

In this episode we explore:
• The difference between managing and controlling emotions
• Why emotional suppression can be harmful
• Understanding emotional triggers
• The connection between emotions and memory
• Self-awareness and personal growth
• Healing unresolved emotional wounds
• Learning from difficult experiences
• Building emotional resilience
• Finding peace through observation and mindfulness
• Honoring emotions without becoming overwhelmed by them

Your emotions are not your enemies. They are messengers inviting you to understand yourself more deeply and move through life with greater awareness, compassion, and strength.

With love,
Yamuna Devi

Welcome beautiful souls 🌿

I am Yamuna Devi, founder of Om Ayurveda Wellness in Miami, and today we are exploring a very important topic that silently affects so many people…

The feeling of never being enough.

Have you ever felt like no matter how much you achieve, improve, accomplish, or give… it still does not feel like enough?

This constant pressure to do more, be more, and perform perfectly can slowly create exhaustion, anxiety, frustration, burnout, and emotional imbalance within the body and mind.

In Ayurveda, this pattern is often connected to an aggravated Pitta energy — the perfectionist mentality that constantly seeks control, achievement, precision, and validation.

But when this drive becomes excessive, it can begin to harm the nervous system and disconnect us from peace, self-worth, and joy.

✨ In this video, we explore:

🌿 Why perfectionism creates stress and emotional suffering
🌿 The connection between self-worth and achievement
🌿 How comparison damages mental and emotional balance
🌿 Ayurvedic understanding of burnout and nervous system imbalance
🌿 Why anxiety increases when we constantly criticize ourselves
🌿 The importance of softness, mindfulness, and self-acceptance
🌿 How to stop competing with yourself and reconnect with inner peace

This is a gentle reminder that you are not your productivity. You are not your performance. You are worthy exactly as you are.

Do you feel constantly drained… even when you haven’t done much?

Like you’re always “on guard,” protecting yourself, overthinking, or emotionally exhausted?

This might not be tiredness. This might be fear silently draining your energy.

In Ayurveda, we often talk about balancing the body, mind, and emotions—but we rarely talk about the energy it takes to constantly protect yourself.

Fear doesn’t always show up loudly. Sometimes, it builds slowly… quietly… creating walls around your heart.

Walls that:

* Block connection
* Limit communication
* Create isolation
* And keep you stuck in survival mode

In this video, we explore how fear becomes a form of protection—and why that protection can slowly exhaust you.

In this video, you’ll learn:

* How fear silently drains your energy
* Why you feel exhausted even when doing “nothing”
* The connection between fear, anxiety, and emotional protection
* How emotional walls block connection and clarity
* Why vulnerability is actually a strength—not weakness
* How past experiences shape your need to protect yourself
* Why healing must be gentle, not forced
* How self-care helps you slowly open again
* Why it’s okay to move forward… and then step back

🌿 Key reminders:

You are not weak for protecting yourself. You are not broken for feeling this way. You are simply adapting.

And now… you can begin to gently soften.

💛 Affirmation:

“I don’t need to protect myself all the time. I am safe to open, slowly. I allow myself to feel, at my own pace.”

✨ You are not fear
✨ You are not anxiety
✨ Your true nature is love

Have you ever been told to “just let it go”… but you simply couldn’t?

Like something inside you is still holding on—no matter how much you want to move on?

If so, this message is for you.

Letting go is not something you can force.
It’s not just mental—it’s emotional, physical, and deeply rooted in your body and past experiences.

Sometimes, the body is not ready.Sometimes, the pain hasn’t been processed.Sometimes, you don’t even know where it’s coming from.

And that’s okay.

In this video, we explore why letting go is a gentle process, not a command—and how creating safety within yourself is the first step toward true healing.

In this video, you’ll learn:

* Why “just let it go” can actually be harmful
* The deep connection between the body, emotions, and memory
* How unprocessed experiences (childhood, relationships, life events) stay within you
* Why healing must feel safe before it can happen
* The role of self-care in naturally releasing emotional weight
* How people-pleasing and childhood patterns affect your ability to let go
* Why you don’t need to force anything—healing happens at your pace
* How small moments of peace lead to real transformation

🌿 Key reminders:

You don’t need to rush your healing. You don’t need to force yourself to let go.
Your body will release… when it feels safe.
And that safety begins with how you treat yourself.

💛 Affirmation:

“I don’t force my healing.I create space for it.I am safe to soften, at my own pace.”

You are not your pain.
You are not your past.
Your true nature is love.
