I recently attended a longevity panel where I asked Dr. Ravindra Ganesh of about something I think more people are quietly starting to wonder about…

👉 Are EMFs, radiation, blue light, and constant WiFi exposure affecting our health?

I appreciated how honest his answer was.

He shared that this is something he’s been thinking about more and more himself — and that recovery and rest from these constant exposures may actually matter.

That really stuck with me.

Because we live in a world where being constantly connected has become normal.ďż˝
Phones nearby 24/7.WiFi running all night.Screens from morning to bedtime.

And while we may not have every answer yet, I do think there’s value in becoming more intentional about our environment.

Some of the simple shifts he mentioned:ďż˝
• Keeping phones out of the bedroom
• Removing WiFi devices from sleep spaces
• Turning WiFi off at night when possible

Nothing extreme.Just more awareness.

I think sometimes the most meaningful wellness changes aren’t expensive or complicated… they’re small boundaries that help our bodies actually rest. 🤍

At a recent longevity panel, Dr. Sokol and Liz Nieves shared something that really shifted the way I think about aging.

We’ve been conditioned to focus on lifespan, living longer.

But what’s the point of more years…if those years are spent disconnected from the people you love, unable to enjoy your life, or without the independence that gives life meaning?

That’s where the conversation around longevity becomes so much deeper. True longevity isn’t just about adding years. It’s about protecting quality of life.

For those wanting to support long-term cognitive health and age more intentionally, they shared a framework that was refreshingly simple:

✨ Live as well as possible
✨ Live as long as possible
✨ Live as safely as possible
✨ Live as independently as possible

That really stayed with me.

Because somewhere along the way, health became so complicated. But the foundation of wellness is often found in the small, consistent things we do every day. How we move. How we eat. How we rest. How we connect with other people.

That’s the kind of longevity I think more of us are actually looking for. 🤍

What if so much of how we age isn’t just genetics… but the way we live every day?

I recently listened to Dr. Sokol talk about Alzheimer’s and dementia prevention, and one statistic really stayed with me:

Up to 45% of risk may be connected to lifestyle and environmental factors.

Not perfection. Not expensive biohacks. Just the everyday things we often overlook.

Things like:
• Prioritizing sleep
• Moving your body consistently
• Staying socially connected
• Eating in a way that supports your brain and body
• Continuing to learn and stay mentally engaged

Working in elder care through , I see every day how much quality of life matters as we age.

And while none of us can control everything, I do believe the small choices we make consistently add up over time.

It’s a good reminder that taking care of ourselves now isn’t selfish… It’s an investment in our future.

The Repeater

Dear Caregiver Corner,

My mom has started repeating the same questions over and over again throughout the day. At first, I tried to be patient and answer her every time, but now I’m finding myself getting frustrated and overwhelmed. It feels constant, and I don’t know how to handle it without losing my patience. What should I do?

You can build a business…Be present for your kids…
And still grow into the person you’re meant to be.

It won’t always feel balanced. But it will always be worth it.

This life isn’t perfect, but it’s meaningful.

I recently completed a 3-day fast, and it honestly gave my body the reset I didn’t realize I needed.

Not just physically, but mentally too.

There’s something powerful about slowing down, being intentional, and giving your body space to heal.

Breaking my fast was simple but intentional: A nourishing meal with protein, healthy fats, and something warm to ease my body back in.

It reminded me that healing doesn’t always come from doing more… sometimes it comes from doing less. 🤍

“There is no way to be a perfect mother, and a million ways to be a good one.”— Jill Churchill

Some days are structured.
Some days are messy.
Some days feel like a win just making it to bedtime.

But at the end of it all… the love is what matters most.

I used to throw away all my juice pulp without thinking twice…

And now I look at it like wait… this is actually the good stuff.

All that fiber, all those nutrients…just sitting there.
So lately, I’ve been saving it and turning it into a simple vegetable broth, and honestly… it’s been one of those small shifts that just makes sense.

Nothing complicated. Just being a little more intentional.

What I’ve been doing:
• Saving my veggie pulp (celery, carrots, greens, herbs)
•Adding it to a pot with filtered water
• Throwing in garlic, ginger + a little mineral salt
• Letting it simmer low for about an hour
• Straining and keeping it to sip on during the week

It’s light, nourishing, and feels really good on my body, especially when I’m trying to reset or just be more mindful about what I’m consuming.

And I love that it’s something that would’ve normally gone to waste.

It’s a reminder that taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be complicated… sometimes it’s just about using what you already have.

Do you usually toss your pulp or reuse it? I’m curious what everyone else is doing

My path into elder care started long before I ever owned a business.

I got into this field at a young age, full of energy and curiosity… just wanting to connect, listen, and be there for people.

What I didn’t expect was how much this work would give back to me.

Because caregiving isn’t one-sided.
The people we care for shape us too. Their stories, their wisdom, their presence — it stays with you.

Over time, I also realized something else:
Care doesn’t have to feel heavy.

It can feel warm.
It can feel human.
It can even feel joyful.

That belief is what led me to build — not just to provide care, but to help change how we experience aging at home.

Because everyone deserves to feel supported, seen, and uplifted in every stage of life.

Back in April, we had the sweetest little moment with these bunnies

I don’t know what’s cuter… the bunnies or my kids

Spring in Miami just hits different…sunshine, fresh air, and these simple little moments that somehow turn into core memories.

Watching them light up over something so small reminds me not to overcomplicate life.

These are the moments that matter.

And yes… I still can’t get over how adorable they are.
