Naughty Nutrition

Naughty Nutrition Naughty Nutrition is...90% nutrition + 10% chocolate + 0% BS Well, we’ve been there, experienced all of them, and we are past all that nonsense.

Okay, so you know how most diets and weight loss programs tell you ‘no’, no carbs, no fats, no calories, no fun! What If we told you that your weight loss and health goals can be accomplished without dieting, and with MORE delicious food on your plate. Seems counterintuitive, right? More food to lose weight? Yep, and we’re not talking about steamed kale and tofu here. Naughty ol’ us want you to ea

t your FAVORITE foods. We’re talking pizza, pasta, burgers, tacos, chocolate, ice cream, and a glass of vino to take it all down, of course. The catch is in learning the art of balance, making healthier swaps here and there, meal prepping, planning ahead, and accepting that beautiful, sexy skin you’re in. We’re whole food, vegan (sometimes), gluten-free (sometimes), sustainable, organic where it matters, simply prepared, delicious and 100% balanced. We just had to share this delicious Berry Superfood Smoothie Bowl I found (courtesy @‌loveandlemons)🥤🍇🍓

Ingredients:

1 cup mixed frozen berries
4 ice cubes
Splashes of light coconut milk (enough to get blender moving)
1 tablespoon almond butter
Handful of spinach

Optional: 1 teaspoon acai powder
Optional: maple syrup or sweetener of your choice, to taste

Topping options:

H**p seeds
Coconut flakes
Blueberries
Freeze-dried strawberries

Instructions:

Place the frozen berries, ice cubes, coconut milk, almond butter and spinach in a blender. Add acai powder, if using. Blend until smooth, adding additional coconut milk as needed. (As little as necessary so your smoothie will be thick). Taste and add maple syrup or sweetener of choice, if desired. Blend again.

Pour into two bowls and top with h**p seeds, coconut flakes, blueberries, and dried strawberries.

Getting that thick and creamy consistency for your smoothie bowl is easier than you think.

Use frozen fruits: This creates a creamy base without the need for ice.

Less liquid, more blending: Start with a small amount of liquid. You can always add more if needed. Blend in short bursts, stopping to scrape down the sides, until you achieve that smooth, thick consistency.

Add a thickening agent: Greek yogurt or nut butter not only adds creaminess but also contributes to thickness.

What is your all-time favorite smoothie combination? Whether it's a tropical paradise blend, a berry-packed masterpiece, or a green goddess concoction, share your go-to smoothie recipe in the comments below! 🌈🥤

Let's talk real talk about levelling up your meals. We have the lowdown on protein power, and we're not messing around. This is our curated list of protein-packed favorites, featuring both animal and plant-based sources that will take your meals to a whole new level of nutrition.

When it comes to protein, quality matters. We recommends opting for lean and nutrient-dense sources. For animal-based proteins, consider lean cuts of poultry, fish, and low-fat dairy. On the plant-based front, choose legumes, tofu, tempeh, and quinoa. These choices not only deliver a substantial protein punch but also bring an array of vitamins and minerals to the table. 🍗🐟
